Butler, Pennsylvania - On Saturday, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, PA, a registered Republican, was fatally shot in the head by a Secret Service team sniper after he fired multiple gunshots around 6:15 p.m. at Donald J. Trump from a roof top about 140 yards away from the outdoor MAGA rally stage, while Trump was on stage. Trump was grazed on his right ear by shattered glass from the teleprompter, but one MAGA attendee at the rally, Corey Comperatore, 50, was reported killed by gunfire, he was struck the back of his head. Two other MAGA attendees were also reported critically injured. (Video link: https://youtu.be/ENIkHL10iZs)
An AR-15 rifle was recovered from the roof by police, where Crooks was shot dead by a Secret Service team sniper.
The Secret Service rushed on stage and escorted Trump to the nearest local hospital for treatment and reported he suffered a non-life threatening injury.
MAGAs who were outside of the rally saw Crooks crawling on the roof of a nearby building with a rifle. They attempted to notify police about Crooks, but Crooks discharged his AR-15 at Trump on stage before police could get to him.
Apparently, Crooks was a registered Republican, but he allegedly didn't support Trump and his extreme right MAGA cult who took over the Republican Party, which is now known as the MAGA Cult political party.
Trump later confirmed that he will attend the Trump MAGA Cult (RNC 2024) National Convention on July 15-18, 2024 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a Democrat voting majority stronghold.
Major protests are planned on Monday (at Red Arrow Park 10:00 a.m., downtown Milwaukee) through Wednesday near the FISERV FORUM where the 3-day convention will be held. Also, a protest is planned on Sunday morning at the General Mitchell Airport exit at 10:00 a.m., 5300 block of S. Howell Ave. to unwelcome the RNC, Trump MAGAs and allies arriving in Milwaukee for the convention.
