Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, Jose Rosas Morales, 33, originally from Mexico was taken into custody by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (USICE), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (USDHS) agents at the 3300 block of W. Scott Street in the Southside of Milwaukee. A video shared by Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) showed when Morales was taken into custody by more then seven federal agents without any resistance by Morales. (Video courtesy of Fabian Hrz at link: https://youtu.be/5mcHzFjmzYE)

His fiancé, Patricia Helen Raney told HNNUSA on Wednesday, that she is very devastated and heart broken to have Morales taken away from her and her three children ages 3, 2, 10-month-old and a baby on the way. Raney described Morales as a loving father to all his children, and he was the bread winner and provided for the family. Raney says that Morales wanted her to stay at home to take care of their children, but since Morales was taken into custody, she doesn't know how she will provide for her children.

Raney has been unable to accept several call collect calls from Morales on Wednesday due to a lack of resources, since being detained by USICE, and sent to the Dodge County Detention Facility.

Raney has reached out to Voces de la Frontera for help, but she doesn't know how that will turnout.

Morales who resides in Racine, according to court records had a status court conference hearing on Tuesday at the Racine County Court House for 4 misdemeanor charges, resisting/obstructing an officer, operating while revoked, and 3 misdemeanor counts for bail jumping (filed on 9/24/2024). A plea sentencing for Morales was scheduled for August 12, 2025. Morales remained on a $1,650 signature bond, according to Racine County court records.

On 5/17/2024, Morales was charged with misdemeanor charges for OWI (2nd), operating while revoked, and operating with a PAC (2nd). He remains on a $1,000 signature bond. A plea sentencing for Morales was scheduled for August 12, 2025.

A Gofundme has been created to help Jose Rosas Morales's children and resolve his immigration  case
