23-year-old Jose M. Silva Pleads Guilty For Vehicular Homicide By Intoxication In The Death Of Aaron M. Strong, 40, In Milwaukee

Silva while driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration crashed into Strong's vehicle after running a red light in October 2022.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Friday, Jose M. Silva, 23, pleaded guilty to one felony count for homicide use of a vehicle with PAC (prohibited alcohol concentration) in the death of Aaron M. Strong, 40, originally from South Saint Paul, Minnesota on October 12, 2022. Strong was the associate Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.

Silva is facing up to 25 years in prison and up to $100,000 in fines when he is sentenced on April 20, 2023.

According to the criminal complaint, Silva while driving intoxicated on October 12, 2022, he ran a red light at the 1000 block of W. Wells St. in Milwaukee striking Strong's vehicle. Strong sustained critical injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Silva was taken into custody at the crash scene.
