Carjacking Homicide Reported In The Southside Of Milwaukee, 46-year-old Rodney Jay Surprise Succumbed To Injuries

Milwaukee police are investigating a carjacking the resulted in a homicide of a 46-year-old male driver in the Southside of Milwaukee.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Police in Milwaukee are searching for suspects allegedly involved in a carjacking on Tuesday, October 25 at around 11:30 p.m. ending with a homicide of the driver identified as Rodney Jay Surprise, 46, of Wauwatosa.

Surprise was struck and beatened by unknown suspects at the Petro Mart gas station at the 2300 block of S. Chase Ave. near W. Lincoln Ave. and suffered critical injuries. His vehicle was stolen by the suspects.

The vehicle was later recovered, but had all its tires missing.

Surprise succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, according to police.
