Drowned 10-year-old Child Found Floating Near The 1600 Block Of W. Cleveland KK River Ditch Canal Flow, Two Adults Still Missing In Milwaukee

Bin Rashidullah apparently fell into the raging waters of the drainage ditch canal at W. Tripoli Ave. near S. 25th Street on Monday, when his father and a neighbor jumped into the waters in an attempt to save him, but both adults were also swept away as well.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, the deceased body of Muhammad Arman bin Rashidullah, 10, was recovered just before 12:30p.m. by the Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD) crew near the 1600 block of W. Cleveland Ave. drainage ditch Kinnickinnic River flow, according to the MFD. A person discovered the body of 10-year-old Bin Rashidullah floating in the water ditch canal near the Pulaski Park pool area and notified authorities.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office responded to Pulaski Park in the Southside of Milwaukee around 12:32p.m. for the recovery of Bin Rashidullah's body who is believed to have drowned in the Kinnickinnic River drainage ditch raging waters.

Bin Rashidullah's father, Rashidullah bin Abdul Hashim, 32, and a neighbor, Zakaria Gonumeah, 37, who both attempted to rescue the child from the raging waters after he fell into the ditch canal near W. Tripoli Ave. and S. 25 St. on Monday are still missing.


Update: On June 16, 2022 just before 12:00p.m., the bodies of both missing adults ages 34 and 37 who went missing in the Kinnickinnic (KK) River canal after attempting to save 10-year-old Muhammad Arman bin Rashidullah who fell into the raging waters on Monday have been located, the body of Zakaria Gonumeah was found in the KK river drainage canal at S. 1st Street and W. Becher St. before 9:00a.m. and the second body, Rashidullah bin Abdul Hashim was located on S. Hilbert St. along the canal just before 12:00p.m., according to the Milwaukee Police Department.


All the deceased victims didn't know how to swim.
