Theodore "Ted" Chisholm, The Youngest Chief of Staff To Serve Under Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas Has Resigned

Chisholm became the youngest person to serve as Chief of Staff in the Milwaukee County Sheriff Lucas administration.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Theodore "Ted" F. Chisholm, 24, the Chief of Staff/Senior administrator and policy advisor who served under Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas has resigned his position to continue with new endeavors, according to Chisholm's announcement about a week ago. Chisholm's last day with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office was on March 6, 2022.

Chisholm at the age of 20 was hired by Sheriff Lucas as Chief of Staff, a newly created position shortly after he was elected to office in 2019. Sheriff Lucas has announced that he wasn't seeking a second term and instead ran in the February 15, 2022 special election as a candidate for Mayor of Milwaukee. The Lucas campaign for mayor was unsuccessful.

Chisholm worked as a staff member for the Earnell Lucas for Milwaukee Sheriff campaign and is the son of Milwaukee County District Attorney John T. Chisholm.
