Milwaukee. WI - The 15-year-old Hispanic male suspect who allegedly shot 7 adults and one teen at Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa on Friday will remain in juvenile detention until next month, according to a juvenile court hearing on Tuesday. He has not been waived to adult court and has a court hearing next month.

The 15-year-old juvenile was on probation for prior criminal offense and was not supposed to get in trouble.

According to police, the 15-year-old shooter fled the scene by calling a Uber, which took him to his family residence. Police arrested the suspect a day after while traveling in a vehicle with Illinois plates. A Glock 9mm handgun was recovered when the teen was taken into custody. The suspect also had a packed bag and was attempting to flee the state.

The juvenile has not been identified at this time.

Two additional suspects have been arrested in the case.
