First Annual Orgullo Latino Festival Held At The Wherehouse Nightclub

Salsa dancing enthusiasts and devoted radio listeners for the Orgullo Latino program on WMSE 91.7 FM gathered to celebrate the First Annual Orgullo Latino Festival at the Wherehouse Nightclub.

Milwaukee, WI - On Sunday, one of the oldest and most popular Sunday radio programming known as Orgullo Latino held the First Annual Orgullo Latino Festival at the Wherehouse Nightclub patio. The Orgullo Latino Festival began at noon and ended at 8:00 p.m., which drew a crowed at the event.
D.J. C-Los and several Salsa bands, Nabori and Clave y Afinque entertained the crowd of Salsa dancing enthusiasts. The MC was Harry "Harry O" Santiago.
The Orgullo Latino radio program for the last 35 years has aired from WSME 91.7 FM every Sunday from noon to 3:00 p.m. The current radio hosts are Harry Santiago and Dr. Hector Pérez Laboy, former radio hosts included, Jertha "Wally" Ramos Colon, Feliz Colon, Nestor "Tito" Figueroa and Tony Muñoz. Many other local Latino personalities and musicians have also shared their moment as radio hosts at Orgullo Latino throughout the years.
The Orgullo Latino radio programming includes a variety of Salsa, Bachata, Caribbean Latin jams and Latin jazz as a music venue not usually heard for three consecutive hours in other daily local Spanish speaking radio stations.
