Milwaukee, WI - On Monday, Tina Ortega posted on Facebook (FB) several FB account photos of what she identified are the two suspects wanted by police in connection with her son's homicide, Angel J. Ortega, 20, at Kaña Mojito Club, a local night club in Milwaukee's Southside. Apparently, Angel and his brother went to Kaña and security refused to let Angel's brother from getting inside due to a dress code issue, but allowed Angel walk inside without checking his ID, according to his brother. Angel was 20 and wasn't carrying an ID with him at the time.
The suspects got into an altercation inside of Kaña over a woman and were kicked out. They were outside when they pulled out guns and fired hitting Angel and two other victims. A female victim was also struck in arm as she ran to her vehicle.
The shooting actually happened outside in the La Fuente parking lot and not inside as it was reported earlier.
Rafael Ortega who is Angel's uncle told Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) that Angel didn't have his ID with him and that police reported his age at 23, but he is only 20. Rafael says, there were two shooters (Estrada and Sánchez) and they began to shoot at those exiting the back door after an altercation broke inside. As a 23-year-old male victim was exiting the suspects who were kicked put of Kaña began to fire and he was shot in the stomach twice. Angel then walked out from Kaña and was struck in the chest and heart, he managed to walk back inside Kaña and told those inside he was just shot and then fell.
Police recovered 6 spent cartridges from a .380 Caliber handgun and 5 spent cartridges from a .45 Caliber handgun in the parking lot.
Police responded to a shooting at Kaña just after 1:45 a.m. on Saturday and found that three people were shot and Angel died from his injuries. The two other victims survived with none life threatening injuries.
Sánchez, 24, and Estrada, 25, were each charged on Monday with three felony counts that include 1st-degree reckless homicide and party to crime and use of a dangerous weapon, if convicted they're facing up to 60-years in prison; 1st-degree reckless injury and party to crime and use of a dangerous weapon, if convicted, they're facing up to 40-years in prison and 1st-degree reckless endangering safety and party to crime and use of a dangerous weapon, if convicted they're facing up to 12-years and six months in prison and up to $25,000 in fines, according to court records.
According to Tina, she is seeking for the public and FB users help in locating the two alleged suspects connected to her son's murder. Tina identified the suspects as Omar Estrada and José Sánchez and posted their FB account photos.
Milwaukee police confirmed that two suspects have been identified and felony warrants have been issued for their arrest. The U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI have been also notified and are helping to located the two suspects.
Angel Velazquez, the owner of Kaña was contacted by HNNUSA and did confirmed that the shooting had occurred at the adjacent parking lot from Kaña and that video surveillance of the shooting outside by the suspects was turned over to police.
If anyone has any information leading to the whereabouts of both Estrada and Sánchez, police should be notified, according to Tina.

Update: In an exclusive video by HNNUSA, Alex Ramirez, the newly assigned Captain to the Milwaukee Police District 2 Station (MPD2) confirmed during a Walker's Point Association community gathering that Kaña Mojito "is on a nuisance status." Officer Kevin Vodicka from the Community Prosecution Unit at MPD2 says that several battery incidents have occurred at Kaña.
In December 2016, a 10-day Class B Tavern and Public Entertainment Premises license suspension was approved for Kaña Mojito Club, 625 S. 5th St. operated by Angel Velazquez. Alderman José G. Pérez voted for license suspension along with other aldermen. The Common Council voted 10-5 to reduce the 60-day suspension to a 10-day suspension under recommendation by Alderman Pérez.
Velazquez has been billed for police services at least for two prior incidents and will most likely be facing another bill up for $5,000 for last weekend's incident, according to Officer Vodicka.
