Amerikkkan Nazism, Political Lies And Fake Religious Practicing Sects Come Out Of The Closet, Undocumented Taxpayers In 2009 Prevented A Depression In The U.S.

Editorial:

The November 5, 2024 U.S. Presidential Election resulted in an unprecedented election of a 34-count convicted felon, which was endorsed by many law enforcement departments and agencies throughout the nation, indicating that law enforcement ideology has gone array from its premise of law and order, or what many were led to believe that the good always wins over the bad.

Hispanic News Network U.S.A.

November 19, 2024

U.S.A. - Within 24 hours of the U.S. Presidential Election in the country, it was learned that 34-count convicted felon Donald J. Trump (R) had won the election with 312 Electorial votes and the popular vote with more than 75.1M votes, 50.3%, compared to U.S. Vice-President Kamala Harris (D) with 226 Electorial votes and with 71.8M of the popular votes, 48.1%, also indicating that Trump had won all 7 swing states shocking Trump himself who never expected to be the actual winner, according to earlier interviews, which Trump refrained himself from saying he would actually win compared to 2020, which he actually lost the election to Joseph "Joe" Biden (D), who was certified to be the Electoral College Vote winner and became the 46th President. This time around, Trump came out early and asked his Make Amerikkka Great Again (MAGA) cult supporters to vote early, which after the votes were counted, had made a difference for the MAGA/Republican candidate.

Also exit polls around the nation showed that more than 54% of Hispanic men, 37% of Hispanic women and a majority of White men 59%, and 52% of White women, and 45% of people of color in urban cities voted for the convicted felon, according to the NBC Exit Polls.

ABC Exit Polls also reported in November 2024 that Trump gained support from people of color, Black men increased to 34% on 2024 compared to 15% in 2020, Black women 9% in 2024 compared to 8% in 2020, Latino men increased to 54% in 2024 compared to 38% in 2020, and Latino women increased to 48% in 2024 compared to 36% in 2020.

Other groups including religious sects like Christians, Evangelists and the Amish population turned out in large numbers to vote for Trump in 2024, indicating that they are definitely all fake religions (sects) and practice double standards of religious preaching and most likely have sold their own souls to the devil for greed, financial gain (profit) by intentionally advocating widespread racist and hate rhetoric aimed at fellow mankind, the undocumented tax paying immigrants.

Well it seems that for years, most Christians and Evangelists have managed to preached the word of God and for their followers not to commit adultery, fraud, lie and engage in criminal activity, but in this case they all looked the other way and preached and prayed for the election of Trump, a 34-count convicted felon who committed fraud in order not to pay taxes, is a known pathological liar, found liable for sex assault, committed adultery multiple times, stole national secrets, is half a billion in debt, and had made more than 35,000 lies or mistruths while in his first term as 45th President and continued to lie after being rejected by the majority of the U.S. electorate in November 2020. It only shows that in November 2024, the Trump MAGA followers from the mentioned religious sects identifying themselves as Christians and Evangelists who don't actually practice what they preached and today, as a true testament have definitely engaged in widespread fake religious practices by supporting and voting to elect Trump, a 34-count convicted felon, which sents a strong message to the younger generations of their religious sects, that Evil triumphs over Good, especially, if you commit fraud, adultery, elicit activities and lie to get to the top.

How ironic, especially to all those corrupt law enforcement departments, agencies and associations (police unions) that endorsed Trump for President in 2024.

Some of the reasons Trump MAGAs and Latintrumpers supported the convicted felon in November 2024 were, the Biden current inflation at 5.2% after taking office in 2021, Trump's rhetoric of open borders, which he advocated of Republicans/MAGAs in the U.S. Congress to reject a bipartisan border security bill that would have secured the border, and his racist and anti-immigrant hate rhetoric promising for mass deportations of more than 11M undocumented tax payers without any replacement workers to do jobs that White, Black and Latino Americans don't want to do in the agriculture fields, dairy farms, construction,  manufacturing, food industry and etc..

Trump advocated to enact the military to gather and detain the undocumented tax payers and their families for mass deportations, and he is also expected too enact tariffs, which would result in the increase of wages and production costs that will be passed on to the consumer. Trump also wants to extend tax cuts, that could stimulate spending, which most likely result with the national deficit to increase and federal debt that could drive up interest rates, according to Newsweek.

Will Trump lead the U.S. into a depression in 2025?

According to several White nationalist and supremacist nominees that Trump has selected for his cabinet in 2025, it is most likely the Latintrumpers and the MAGA cult will experience a second depression and economic disaster for the nation.

Trump will inherit a strong Biden economy in 2025 when he is sworned-in as the next U.S. President, and if he is smart enough, Trump will avoid implementing tariffs and instead of mass deportations of undocumented tax paying workers, Trump would consider in enacting a similar amnesty like former Republican President Ronald Reagan implemented in the 1980's or signing into law a comprehensive immigration reform bill with a path to citizenship for than 11M undocumented workers. Trump would continue to stabilize the economy by implementing an amnesty to more than 11M undocumented workers and help the country to prosper in his second term. But, those White nationalists and supremacists that surround him will definitely prevent Trump from succeeding due to the continued racist and hate rhetoric that has consumed the Republican National Committee and the Republican Party as a whole.

Economic stats by undocumented tax payers in the U.S.:

According to the institute On Taxation And Economic Policy (ITEP):

• Undocumented immigrants paid $96.7 billion in federal, state, and local taxes in 2022. Most of that amount, $59.4 billion, was paid to the federal government while the remaining $37.3 billion was paid to state and local governments.

• Undocumented immigrants paid federal, state, and local taxes of $8,889 per person in 2022. In other words, for every 1 million undocumented immigrants who reside in the country, public services receive $8.9 billion in additional tax revenue.

• More than a third of the tax dollars paid by undocumented immigrants go toward payroll taxes dedicated to funding programs that these workers are barred from accessing. Undocumented immigrants paid $25.7 billion in Social Security taxes, $6.4 billion in Medicare taxes, and $1.8 billion in unemployment insurance taxes in 2022.

• At the state and local levels, slightly less than half (46 percent, or $15.1 billion) of the tax payments made by undocumented immigrants are through sales and excise taxes levied on their purchases. Most other payments are made through property taxes, such as those levied on homeowners and renters (31 percent, or $10.4 billion), or through personal and business income taxes (21 percent, or $7.0 billion).

In 2014, Stephen Goss, the chief actuary of the Social Security Administration told Vice News that in the last decade, an estimated 11M undocumented immigrants reside in the U.S. and about 7M are unauthorized workers and 3.1M of those worked with fake or expired Social Security numbers and paid automatic payroll taxes to the federal government. In 2010, a $13B annual net contribution was made to the Social Security Trust Fund.

In the last ten years, unauthorized workers have paid an estimated $100B into the trust fund and most of the unauthorized workers will never benefit from their tax contributions later in life, according to Goss.

Most of the payroll tax funds collected from unauthorized workers are not claimed at the end of the year because they fail to file a tax refund with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The IRS transfers unclaimed tax refunds to a suspended account totalling billions of dollars.

In Wisconsin, a swing states that turned red in 2024, undocumented workers paid more than $90M of combined taxes per year to the State.

Lastly, in 2009 when U.S. President elect Barack H. Obama was in office, the U.S. was facing a growing recession, which he inherited from former President George W. Bush, and the country was headed to a depression because there was no money to keep the economy of the country running. Former President Obama and the U.S. Congress were able to take billions of dollars from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) suspended account, which all the federal tax refunds that are not reimbursed to undocumented tax payers are held. The IRS suspended account billions of tax dollars contributed by undocumented workers were then invested in the U.S. economy to prevent a depression in America. Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Monday, Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned that the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office filed criminal felony charges on November 8, 2024 against Christian Martin, 18, and a arrest felony warrant was issued on Monday, November 11, 2024 in connection with the October 28, 2024 fatal shooting of Nelson Manuel López Correa, 15, who had succumbed to his head wound injury and died days later.

Martin was charged with 1st-degree intentional homicide including use of a dangerous weapon. If convicted, Martin is facing life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Martin allegedly shot López Correa behind the head late last month near the 1600 block of W. Forest Home Ave. and is now being sought by police in connection with the López Correa's homicide.

According to the criminal complaint, López Correa was with a girl he was dating and another male teen near S. 16 and W. Forest Home Ave. when Martin approached the girl who previously dated him. Apparently, the girl had talked to Martin a day earlier, but Martin came upon the group and began to talk to the girl. She told Martin that she didn't want to date him anymore and Martin struck her on the side. As López Correa and the girl who was dating him stood by the bus stop, Martin shot López Correa from behind and the girl fled to a nearby gas station.

Police recovered video surveillance footage from the area and it showed Martin shooting López Correa and the girl running away. The second male teen told police that had gone to his home nearby to check on the bus schedule, but while he was returning to the bus stop to meet up with his friend, he heard a gunshot and saw López Correa fall, by then Martin had fled the scene.

The family of López Correa told HNNUSA that they will host a Justice for Nelson Manuel López Correa peaceful march on November 16, 2024 at 9:30 a.m., meeting location at S. 16 Street and W. Forest Home Ave., and around 10:40 a.m., those attending will march to the Milwaukee Police Department District 2 Station, 245 W. Lincoln Ave. in Milwaukee.

Latinotrumpers And The Homeless Elected 34-count Convicted Felon Trump President In Amerikkka On November 2024

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is calling foul and that Trump stole the election on November 2024.

Zorillo Network
A Global Satire News Agency

November 11, 2024

U.S.A. - A national exit poll conducted nationwide by Zorillo Network found that more than 57% of Latinos and Latintrumpers (men) voted to elect former U.S. President and convicted felon Donald J. Trump. Which 45% of the low income voter that included the homeless population in the country were also instrumental in a MAGA Trump win.

Trump had a stress panic attack during election night on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, when he noticed that he was gaining the popular and Electorial vote. Trump (R) won by 279 Electorial votes compared to Kamala Harris (D) with 219 votes. The popular projected vote was 70.6M for Trump and 65.6M for Harris.

Final Electoral vote count total November 2024 Presidential Election: Trump 312 electoral votes, 75.1M, 50.3% of the popular vote, and Harris with 226 electoral votes, 71.8M, 48.1% of the popular vote.

The MAGA campaign for Trump were also stunned and would have never foreseen the major win by the Latintrumpers and Latino vote to Make Amerikkka Great Again (MAGA), or what ever that means.

Now, the MAGA campaign including the Republican National Committee (RNC) are scrambling to rewrite their White supremacist agenda to include the Latintrumpers with the MAGA political party that has for decades keep them as second class MAGAs and conditioned to follow as sheep no matter where Trump leads them tomorrow. If Trump decides to jump of the cliff, well, all the MAGAs and Latintrumpers will also take the leap of faith (jump) as well. In other words, Latintrumpers see, Latintrumpers do!

Also, the homeless voters have just become a powerful electorate force including the Latintrumpers who unsurprisingly voted for Trump so, he can conduct massive deportations of the undocumented and free the housing market, so more housing can be provided for the homeless.

The Latino men who voted for the orange guy were eager for Trump to win, in order for him to deport their undesirable undocumented in-laws, especially their nagging mothers in-laws.

The DNC is now calling foul and are allegedly indicating that Trump stole the election in red states, but as it turned out, the Latino vote sold the soul of the Democrats out and went MAGA this time around (talking about an unprecedented evil and conniving move in the history of a two major party politics). The DNC has been looking under every brick and taco to see where of the more than 20M missing democrat voters went, because they might have decided not to vote for Harris. A major mystery to solve by the Democrats.

Trump admitted that his taco salad propaganda during the last few days of the election lured the majority of the Latino vote, including allowing a MAGA comedian call Puerto Rico, a floating Island of garbage, which many Boricuas seemed to agree with the comedian and decided to vote for Trump, since they're already residing in the U.S. and living off the government, according to a Trump MAGA campaign official source who wants to remain anonymous.

Undocumented immigrants in the U.S. paid $96.7B in taxes in 2022. With Trump MAGA massive deportations, Amerikkka will not longer collect taxes from the undocumented.

Did Bullying, Antisemitism Hate, Isolation By So Called Friends, And Shepherd Express List Of Disdained Politicians Push Milwaukee Alderman Jonathan Brostoff Over The Edge To Commit Suicide?

A Facebook post by Attorney Ann Jacobs made sharable address the possibility that Milwaukee Alderman Jonathan Brostoff might have been pushed over the edge by a combination of bullying, antisemitic acts and possibility an organized effort by a group of individuals not directly named who allegedly bullied Brostoff for his support of Isreal.

By H. Nelson Goodson
Hispanic News Network U.S.A.

November 9, 2024

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Sunday, the Shepherd Express came out with a City Confidential list of disdained politicians in which, Milwaukee Alderman Jonathan Brostoff, 41, was listed among three others in the category of "Most Despised Politicians" that also included State Representative and Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly Robin Vos (R), State Representative Robert "Bob" Donovan (R),  and U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R). The Shepherd Express has since pulled the link from the internet.

Attorney Ann Jacobs posted in her Facebook (FB) account, "Sunday night, the Shepherd Express posted its "most despised politicians" and it included Robin Vos, Ron Johnson, and JONATHAN BROSTOFF.  Jonathan was repeatedly attacked for his support for Israel and the absurdity of equating him with Vos & Johnson demonstrates the level of antsemitism directed at him.  And there were many others who fomented this who today are suddenly bereft, refusing to acknowledge the hate they participated in." (FB link: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/15HYCrcvDf/)

After Jacobs post on FB, individuals including Vos,  politicians and who's Who in the Milwaukee metro area began to respond and post their opinions on who was behind Brostoff's personal attacks that allegedly included bullying, hypocrisy, and the antisemitic hate towards Brostoff, from some of his so called friends that he was instrumental in getting elected into public office, but then isolated Brostoff and his family for the last 18 months, simply because Brostoff, as being Jewish himself stood and supported Israel to his final day in life.

Robin Vos posted in Jacob's FB comment thread, "How about saying no one in an elected office, regardless of party, should be despised?  Jonathan certainly didn't deserve the bullying.  It's hateful rhetoric against any elected official that fuels the rise of things like antisemitism, sexism etc.  Perhaps the people commenting should consider that as well..."

Ann Jacobs responded to Vos, "Robin Vos how about we focus on the substance of my post?  Jonathan was targeted for his support for Israel and Jews around the world."

Lana Holman posted, "Robin Vos Because you were so kind to Jonathan when he was in the State Assembly? You were a terrible bully and you are a dingus. The only thing I can say is that you haven't been an obvious antisemite...(to Susan G. Berna) I am completely disgusted in Ryan Clancy for this. Jonathan was very upset with him. Everyone knows Ryan is a grand standing weirdo that will take his few minutes of fame while wearing a Kefiyah. Chris Larsen is not a friend and treated Jonathan poorly this year by NOT standing up for his friend."

Darryl Morin posted, "I am so disappointed in the Shepherd Express . Jonathan was the champion on so many progressive issues and so many turned on him so vehemently forgetting all the personal sacrifices he made for the progressive movement. Jonathan will always be who I think of when I think of a good, decent, empathetic and compassionate public servant.  These traits were an extension of his strong Jewish faith...agreed and it is despicable...While the Shepard Express never should have have run it, the real haters are the ones who put in the time and effort to have people target Jonathan.  These types of efforts further diminish their credibility."

Jan Wilberg, "Darryl Morin And where is their moral accountability? Or political accountability? Is there any reckoning at all? It's sickening beyond words."

Sylvia Ortiz-Velez posted,
"I could think of a few folks that fit the bill. People who stood by and remained silent and did nothing to stop certain people from bullying him. They justify  their actions by saying I didn't bully him. No you stood by and watched your friends Harass and bully him and you did nothing , your just as guilty in my book!"

Susan G. Berna posted, "DSA and Chris Larson and Ryan Clancy need to answer Why they allowed Ron Jansen to organize this hit job and destroy a man!!"

Christine Sinicki posted, "This is exactly what I suspected.   He was harassed and stalked by this group.  Jonathan took pride in the work he did, he was probably one of the kindest empathic people I've ever known."

Victor Huyke posted, "The more i learn about this, the more I'm disappointed by the actions of these people who had the audacity to call themselves Jonathan's friend. I had no idea that he was being harassed for more than a year."

Amy Waldman posted, "Here you go, Ann. He was absolutely bullied to death, and there are people who will read this and know who they are, the part they played in robbing four little kids the ability to grow up knowing their father directly instead of through stories, and leaving a bereft and beloved spouse alone to raise those four little kids. They get to live with themselves. Oh, and don't think the Shepherd gets a pass for deleting that link. It's still out there in the print edition."

James McNulty posted, "Rep Ryan Clancy literally killed him.  Sen Chris Larson is now pretending to have lost a friend.  Meanwhile he campaigned for Clancy's re-election while this harassment was going on."

Aliza Rachel posted, "James McNulty a screenshot of a Facebook post isn’t a fact. The fact is you are a right wing professional Facebook troll. You do not care about Jonathon, you want to harm Clancy. That’s not what we’re doing here. Please go."

During Friday's funeral services for Alderman Brostoff, Diana Vang Brostoff, his wife in a full attendance of individuals that showed up to celebrate Brostoff's life and to give their Rest in Peace respects to Brostoff, Vang Brostoff confirmed that she and Alderman Brostoff had been isolated for at least 18 months by those who they thought were actual friends, simply because Alderman Brostoff supported Israel. (https://www.youtube.com/live/9Hk7aAyN6a4, Brostoff's funeral, wife statement at hour 1 and 19 minutes)

Many of those individuals that had allegedly participated in distancing from Brostoff for supporting Israel and bullied Brostoff were present at Brostoff's funeral services on Friday (the hypocrisy and no shame). In Jacobs FB post, multiple names were mentioned (Ron Janson, Louis Fortis, Ryan Clancy and Chris Larson) by those responding in the comment threads and fingers were pointed at certain individuals and politicians allegedly involved in the political persecution of Alderman Brostoff for simply supporting Israel (the Zionist government) that has engaged in the genocide of unarmed Palestinians and children in the GAZA war against the HAMAS.

Alderman Brostoff was considered one of the most progressive politicians in the Wisconsin State Assembly, including as a Milwaukee alderman in the Milwaukee Common Council.

Brostoff's body was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Greenfield Park, in Greenfield, Wisconsin. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office ruled it a suicide.

No note was reported recovered at Brostoff's suicide scene, according to the preliminary Greenfield police investigation.

It has not been determined by police what motivated Brostoff to commit suicide, but according to Jacobs FB post, bullying,  hypocrisy, antisemitic hate and isolation by certain individuals that Brostoff and his family endured for 18 months and the recent Shepherd Express category list that was published naming the most despised politicians last Sunday could very well be multiple contributing factors that pushed Brostoff of the edge that ended his young life.

Latino MAGA Men Who Elected Trump, Remain In The Lower Echelons Of The MAGA Cult And Don't Share Leadership Decision Making In The Republican Party, Due To Discrimination Practices

Latino MAGA men including women have experienced second class recognition by the MAGA cult and the Republican Party due to discrimination practices within the Party, but do remained loyal to Trump, their pathological lying master. Figure that one out!

Fact: Latino MAGA men who elected Trump in November 5, 2024, are in the lower echelons of the MAGA cult political party and don't share leadership decision making positions with the White supremacist leadership team in the MAGA (Make Amerikkka Great Again) Party and the Republican Party.

Latino MAGA men who voted for Trump are just mere followers like sheep and are not organized to create their own political agenda platform (voice) for the Republican Party to adhere and will remain in the lower bowels of the MAGA cult.

Discrimination against Latino MAGA men in the MAGA cult and Republican Party is very prevalent.

MAGAs believe that he will have a better economy, but in his prior term, Trump had the worst economy in U.S. history.

The Dems movement to replace President Joe Biden (D) with Harris sealed Harris's fate to be defeated in her 100-day campaign by a convicted felon.

What was unprecedented was that law enforcement around the nation endorsed Trump, a convicted felon for president. Also, many Puerto Ricans and Latinos in the U.S. voted to elected Trump, despite being a pathological liar, 34-count convicted felon and corrupt.

In his first term, Trump made more than 35,000 confirmed mistruths and false statements, and in his second, Trump is expected to continue his pathological lying to his supporters, who no matter what Trump lies about, they will follow him as a MAGA cult.

In Wisconsin, Eric Hovde (R) was defeated by U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D) by nearly 15,000 votes. Hovde believes that senior citizens shouldn't be allowed to vote. Baldwin wins another term.

Also, Trump was the projected winner in Wisconsin with 51% of the vote compared to 47% for Harris.

As votes continue to be counted around the nation, election races in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate including the president's race could change in coming days when all the votes are counted.

Editor's note:

• The worst part is, Trump can add more racist and corrupt U.S. Supreme Court justices to ensure the injustices targeted at people of color prevail.

• The U.S. will turn into another Mexico where criminals, organized crime, corrupt law enforcement and cartels control the government!

• Hate for people of color will most likely become the norm in the U.S. under the Trump presidency.

• Trump MAGA fools, they will definitely get to experience high costs and another worse economy under Trump, while the rich profit.

• Hate, racism rhetoric and anti-immigrant sentiment were the core key factors for Trump to become the projected winner!

West Allis, Wisconsin - On October 31, 2024, Sammy Bohringer, the owner of Sammy's Taste of Chicago restaurant in West Allis dressed like a Trump supporter piece of garbage on Halloween Day.

At a Trump rally in Madison Square Garden, MAGA comedian Tony Hinchcliffe from Austin, Texas during the rally called Puerto Rico a "floating Island of garbage", then U.S. President Joe Biden (D) referred to Trump supporters as garbage.

We can see, that Bohringer sees himself as garbage too for supporting Trump, which anyone with some common sense and a little bit of humor can also agree with him.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Puerto Ricans will definitely takeout Trump and the MAGA garbage.

Editor's note: When Obama was elected U.S. President, Bohringer allegedly printed fake money with former President Obama wearing a muslim turban, according to former restaurant customers.

MATC President Dr. Anthony Cruz Sent Letter To All Colleagues Explaining His Status Quo Position Concerning Issues Plaguing The Technical College

Dr. Cruz writes that "our investigative process includes a determination as to whether discrimination or harassment occurred, and no one on the college's executive leadership team has been found to have engaged in discrimination or harassment." Cruz didn't cite who in investigated the executive leadership team, whether it was an internal MATC investigation, or an independent and impartial investigation.

October 30, 2024

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Wednesday, Dr. Anthony Cruz Sent out his first letter to all the colleagues at MATC explaining his status quo position and Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) received a copy, which will be included in this article.

HNNUSA first reported on October 22, 2024, that multiple Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) employees (instructors), former MATC students and a community based organization leader from Voces de la Frontera spoke at the MATC Board meeting against the current discriminatory practices by the administration that resulted in retaliation practices as well for those exposing the issues affecting Latino students, instructors and employees at the technical college. (Video of testimony to the MATC District Board at: https://youtu.be/Lm_ImpZGXn4)

In the MATC District Board open public session, the Board heard that the administration ar MATC seemed to have a diminishing commitment to provide bilingual courses taught by qualified bilingual instructors instead of instructors that can only speak English. Also, the three EMMY Award winning bilingual Adelante show aired on Milwaukee PBS Channels 10 and 36 produced at MATC has been cut previously from 32 productions to 12 episodes, according to Patricia Gomez, the television Director/Producer/Host at Milwaukee PBS.

Luz Sosa, a bilingual economic instructor at MATC claimed, retaliation, discrimination and a lack of promotion opportunities at MATC. Sosa told the MATC District Board that she has served MATC for 13 years and has faced barriers that prevented her from advancing within MATC. "Over the past few years, I have faced retaliation for speaking out against issues that directly affect our students, faculty, and staff, particularly the Latino students, faculty, and staff, and I have experience discrimination that has stifled my professional growth."

"As a bilingual instructor, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to teach courses in both English and Spanish.

"Yet, bilingual courses have been assigned to instructors who do not speak Spanish, depriving students of the quality bilingual education they deserve. When I raised concerns about this, I was met not with support, but with hostility.

"Instead of addressing the issue, I was retaliated against. This retaliation took many forms, being overlooked for courses I am qualified to teach, being excluded from important discussions about the future of bilingual education, and, most painfully, being denied opportunities for promotion to a full time position, despite my qualifications and years of service at MATC."

According to Sosa, many fellow bilingual and minority instructors have been denied promotions regardless of their qualifications. There is a culture of retaliation, harassment, discrimination and exclusion at MATC and it affects many minorities at the technical college.

Sosa also told the Board that she had filed multiple complaints of discrimination and retaliation, but were dismissed without any meaningful investigation.

On October 28, 2024, Daryll L. Fortune, Director - Content and Public Relations at MATC and responded to the HNNUSA article dated October 22, 2024. Fortune statements were that Adelante has produced 9-12 programs per year for the last eight years and there has been no recent change to this. In recent Milwaukee Journal article about Adelante, Fortune indicated that MATC is working hard to provide more programs for the Latino community, but HNNUSA noticed that in the last 8 years, MATC hasn't allowed Adelante to produce more than the limited programming it has today. Why?

As to why MATC assigned monolingual instructors to advertised bilingual programs, Fortune stated, Our bilingual programs and classes are designed to help students whose first language is not English succeed in a college-level environment. In a competitive labor market for all instructors, finding bilingual instructors for our classes is a challenge, however we remain committed to this work. While we are not able to speak to any specific personnel issue, there are occasions when a bilingual instructor may already be scheduled in other courses and cannot take on an additional bilingual section. In a case such as this, a monolingual instructor may be assigned.

HNNUSA asked Fortune the following, if none speaking instructors are assigned to bilingual courses, then the course is no longer offered as bilingual, then why doesn't MATC declassify the course from bilingual to none bilingual and students registering for such course are made aware that the instructor is monolingual and not bilingual?

Also, why hasn't MATC looked for bilingual instructors working part time in its payroll and offered them the option to become full time (employees) positions to fill bilingual vacant positions for certain bilingual courses, instead of assigning monolingual instructors to those courses? Fortune has yet to respond.

Carlos Aranda, Counselor at MATC requested for the MATC District Board conduct an independent audit and investigation into the Human Resources hiring practices, and discrimination, harassment and retaliation cases at MATC.

Aranda recommended to the Board to restore fairness, transparency, and accountability within the MATC institution. (Full article link: http://hispanicnewsnetwork.blogspot.com/2024/10/matc-advertised-bilingual-courses-but.html)

In the recent letter by Dr. Cruz, he doesn't indicate that he will enforce accountability against the any practice of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and exclusion at MATC, but seems that he will contine the status quo at the college. Cruz seems to dismiss, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recent article depicting multiple documented cases of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and exclusion. If Dr. Cruz continues his stand to allow the status quo practices by the leadership team at the college, then sooner or later he will be facing a vote of no confidence by the very same colleagues at MATC. HNNUSA did noticed that Cruz didn't even apologized to the MATC colleagues for what many had endured before he arrived at MATC, nor did assure the colleagues that a investigation has been launched to address most of the issues that the colleagues are facing today, and assure that retaliation for addressing such issues will not be tolerated by him and the MATC District Board.

Time will tell, if Dr. Cruz will actually succeed in cleaning up the mess at MATC, by actually replacing the bad apples in his leadership team or he will just milk the cow (collect his salary) and then decide move on.

The following is Dr. Cruz's letter to the MATC colleagues dated October 30, 2024.

Dear MATC Colleagues:

In my first message to you as president, I focused on belonging and the way we treat one another and our students. These themes, along with a commitment to improving our culture, have been part of our discussions from Coordination Day through a series of Restorative Practices events and MATC Day earlier this month. At these events, team meetings, coffee sessions and more, I have heard about the growth and improvement already taking place and your thoughts on areas in which we have an opportunity to grow.

You may have read a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel story published this week that focused on concerns expressed by former and current employees and recalling several incidents that have happened in the last five years. As I approach the 100-day mark as your president, I write to speak to you directly about the story and also reinforce my steadfast commitment of support for you and our students.

One aspect of the story was the time it takes from when a complaint is filed to when it is resolved. Indeed, there have been instances when the time it takes to communicate an ultimate resolution to complainants and respondents reduced the level of confidence in the process. As noted briefly in the story, the college has significantly improved its complaint process to resolve and communicate resolutions on matters more quickly whenever possible. This work was led by Human Resource Vice President Elle Bonds-Jones and General Counsel Sherry Terrell-Webb prior to my arrival, and I want to thank them for their leadership in this effort. Ms. Bonds-Jones also conducted a pay parity and equity review that led to needed salary adjustments. And as we have shared, the college launched affinity groups, anti-bias workshops for all employees, training for hiring panelists, an employee ombudsperson's office and a leadership academy to grow diverse talent.

In my experience leading at other higher education institutions, these are strong signs of growth in our culture. The college's continuing commitment to becoming a more equitable and inclusive institution is part of what drew me to my role here at MATC.

It is also important to note there were aspects of the story that could lead to inaccurate conclusions. As a matter of practice, we, like other employers, do not publicly discuss individual personnel matters. We believe situations with our employees are better handled confidentially than in the news media. For this reason, it is difficult to tell a fair and complete story about any individual incident through the news.

While I will not speak to any specific cases, anyone who is terminated from the college goes through a documented process. Multiple factors are considered and that person receives a detailed explanation of the factors and findings that generated the outcome. No terminated employee is denied an appeal in accordance with our grievance procedures. No employee is terminated for raising a concern or filing a complaint. In addition, our investigative process includes a determination as to whether discrimination or harassment occurred, and no one on the college's executive leadership team has been found to have engaged in discrimination or harassment.

I am confident in both our processes and the leaders who guide them.

At the same time, we do continue to have room to grow as an institution as we seek to be more equitable and inclusive. This includes updating the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Plan led by Interim Vice President Michael Rogers through town hall sessions this fall to inform the process. It also includes the Restorative Practices work led by Mr. Rogers and Ms. Bonds-Jones. Our growth will also be fueled by efforts led by Executive Vice President Dr. Phillip King to bring together  academic and student service teams to strengthen supports for student success. These elements and others will shape our next strategic plan and lead us to be a stronger college.

A healthy culture is vital to the success of any organization, especially one as diverse as ours, where inclusion, equity and social mobility are at the forefront of our work. Embracing inclusivity and shared goals promotes unity, stronger relationships, and a more effective approach to problem-solving and community building. How we treat each other sets the tone for our students. I am committed to serving you, our employees, so you can better serve our students and help fulfill our mission.

Sincerely,

Anthony Cruz, Ed.D.
MATC President

Milwaukee,  Wisconsin - On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, Juan Chingate Castellanos was booked at the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office jail in downtown Milwaukee.

Charges are pending for Chingate Castellanos.

What's unusual is his booking registered second name "Chingate", which is considered in slang "#@&%ck You or #@&%ck yourself".

Looks like the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office booking personnel at the jail lack any bilingual speaking or Interpreting skills. Perhaps a booking typo (Chingate) by a Milwaukee County deputy sheriff or corrections officer at the Milwaukee County jail?

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, Salvador Sánchez, 87, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at 2:55 p.m.,  according to his son, Gabriel Sánchez who posted the announcement on his Facebook account.

Sánchez was well known in Milwaukee for his years of involvement in helping to shape and influence social change for the Milwaukee Latino community in the Southside and Wisconsin. Sánchez was the co-founder of the Latin American Union for Civil Rights (LAUCR) along with Ernesto Chacon, Roberto Hernández and Juan Alvarez Cuauhtémoc, other well known Latino Civil Rights advocates and leaders of the 1970's UWM Take Over of the chancellor's office at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee that were instrumental in bringing down the barriers of discrimination that kept Latinos from enrolling at UWM. In 1970, UWM had more than 25,000 White student and less than 17 Latino students enrolled.

Sánchez under LAUCR operated Fiesta Mexicana at the Summerfest grounds from 1977 to 1987.

Sánchez while becoming the director of the United Migrant Opportunity Services (UMOS) was instrumental in organizing food drop offs at UWM when the Latino community took over the UWM chancellor's office on August 27, 1970, and he allowed students who were taking studies at UMOS to participate in the UWM takeover. He also participated in the takeover of the chancellor's office at UWM.

Sánchez was also instrumental in organizing a huge march along with other leaders  from Milwaukee to Madison to fight for migrant rights and to push for enforcement of housing state laws for seasonal migrants working at farms in Wisconsin.

On August 15, 1966, Sánchez marched beside Jesús Salas, another organizer of the Obreros Unidos movement who marched 88 miles with migrant farm workers from Wautoma to Madison demanding farm workers rights, enforcement of child labor laws and adequate living conditions for seasonal farm workers and their families at Wisconsin farms.

Milwaukee lost another great historic Latino leader and our deepest condolences for the loss to his family.

LULAC Denounced Hate Speech At Trump Rally In Madison Square Garden Referring To Puerto Rico As A Floating Island Of Garbage

Tasteless joke backfires at Trump rally, which a MAGA comedian referred to Puerto Rico as a floating Island of garbage. Bad Bunny, Ricky Martin and Puerto Rico's Governor Pedro Pierluisi backed Harris after Trump rally acist remarks targeted at Puerto Rico. Also, Forward Latino in Franklin, Wisconsin condemned the Trump rally hate speech about Puerto Rico.

By H. Nelson Goodson
Hispanic News Network U.S.A.

October 27, 2024

Washington, D.C. - On Sunday, the National League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) organization denounced Trump's rally hate speech referring to Puerto Rico as a floating Island of garbage. In a press release, LULAC says that they strongly support Puerto Ricans and all Latinos in denouncing the hurtful and derogatory comments made at Sunday's Trump rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City. During the rally, podcast host and (MAGA) comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, one of the speakers, referred to Puerto Rico as "a floating island of garbage." He also disparaged Latinos who, he mocked, "enjoy making babies."

The National LULAC organization's PAC endorsed Harris and Walz in August.

"We are shocked but not surprised that the Trump campaign in New York today has stooped to allow a speaker to call the island of Puerto Rico 'floating garbage,'" said Roman Palomares, LULAC National President. "LULAC does not care how they spin it; these words spewed by a so-called comedian should have never been allowed and should have been immediately rejected and condemned by Donald Trump. However, as usual, he has remained silent and, in the process, insulted millions of proud people who are Puerto Rican and live on the island and throughout the United States. It is a sad day in our country when statements like these go unchallenged by a candidate seeking the highest office in the land. This should preview what we can expect if he returns to the White House. Shame on him!"

The Trump campaign's tolerance for offensive humor, especially against Puerto Rico and its residents, highlights a disturbing pattern of disregard toward the island's people and its challenges. Millions of Puerto Ricans have been rebuilding after a series of devastating natural disasters, from hurricanes to earthquakes, and are a proud and resilient community. Such careless words not only deepen wounds but also normalize harmful rhetoric.

LULAC National Board Member and Vice President for the Southeast United States, Mari Corugedo, who is of Puerto Rican descent, added, "To belittle Puerto Rico and call it 'an island of garbage' is an attack not only on Puerto Ricans but on the very fabric of America. Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens who serve, sacrifice, and contribute daily to our nation. They deserve dignity and respect, not insults or paper towels thrown in place of real support. Puerto Rico is part of the United States. Puerto Ricans are proud Americans—loyal, hardworking, and essential to our country's strength and diversity. They deserve leaders who recognize their worth, not those who degrade them. We will vote!"

LULAC demands a formal apology from the Trump campaign and a retraction of the offensive statement. The Latino community will not accept or ignore blatant disrespect toward Puerto Ricans and all who call Puerto Rico home. These remarks, dismissed as "jokes," are harmful reminders that the struggle for respect and equality continues, according to LULAC's press release.

The tasteless joke at the Trump rally about referring to Puerto Rico as a floating Island of garbage backfired against Trump and the MAGA comedian Hinchcliffe, Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny backed Presidential candidate Kamala Harris by posting Harris's pledge to Puerto Rico in his account of 45M followers in Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/stories/badbunnypr/) after the Trump rally racist remarks targeted at Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rican artist Ricky Martin, also backed Harris on Sunday.

Other Latino artists and many Republicans followed suit in support of Puerto Rico and on Sunday, Harris renewed her pledged of economic support for Puerto Rico while campaigning in Philadelphia.

Puerto Rico's Governor Pedro Pierluisi also backed Harris and called for Puerto Ricans to vote for Harris and show their force against bigotry at the ballot box.

Forward Latino National President Darryl Morin in Wisconsin issued the following statement:

“Forward Latino condemns last night’s statement made by a featured speaker at Donald Trump’s closely scripted and choreographed rally in New York City, New York.  The speaker referred to the United States Commonwealth of Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage.”  While the campaign quickly disavowed the statement, Donald Trump’s record on Puerto Rico during his presidency closely aligns with the statement.  An independent investigation conducted by the Office of the Inspector General of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development found that Donald Trump blocked the release of approximately $20 billion in emergency aid that the island which it was approved to receive.  Because of this, numerous projects were canceled or delayed and the majority of the island was without power for over 10 months, causing the needless loss of additional American lives.

It is important that we remember that all Puerto Ricans are United States Citizens and that they have fought and died to defend the rights of all American Citizens.  According to the United States Department of Defense, since World War I Puerto Ricans have participated in every major U.S. military conflicts.

The Republican National Hispanic Assembly (RNHA) also condemned the offensive remarks by Hinchcliffe at the Trump rally. Hinchcliffe is not a representative of the Trump campaign and his remarks do not reflect the views of the campaign. His words reflect nothing but a poorly executed joke by a misinformed comedian, according to the RNHA.

Christine Neumann-Ortiz from Voces de la Frontera also spoke to the MATC District Board and told the Board to correct a disturbing pattern of discrimination against Latino staff and the Latino community. Also, that MATC advertised bilingual courses, but instructors that only speak English are teaching these courses, which setup Latino students for failure, and to have talented Latino staff internally and to ensure that we protect the growth and high quality of English as a second language and the bilingual program at MATC. Neumann-Ortiz appealed to the Board to restore the 32 episodes of the Adelante television program, which benefits the Latino community.

Also, Yimma Davila-Castro, a former MATC student told the MATC District Board that she was very deeply concerned about the direction that MATC is taking with the bilingual education. Davila-Castro stated that on August 14, 2024, the Psychology 199 bilingual section was assigned to a non-bilingual instructor, and just recently, the bilingual Economics course (Eco 195) was given to an instructor who does not speak Spanish, with the justification that students could simply receive translation services. Translation is not a substitute for a genuine bilingual learning experience, according to Davila-Castro.

Davila-Castro told the Board, this is not bilingual education. This is a disservice to the students and to the Latino community.

She urged the Board to ensure that bilingual courses are taught by qualified bilingual instructors, hold administrators accountable for their decisions, respect and uplift internal talent, and establish clear consequences for harassment and discrimination practices by administrators.

Carlos Aranda, a Couselor at MATC requested for the MATC District Board conduct an independent audit and investigation into the Human Resources hiring practices, and discrimination, harassment and retaliation cases at MATC.

Aranda recommended the following to restore fairness, transparency, and accountability within the MATC institution:

• Independent External Investigation/Forensic Audit of Human Resources-Labor Relations: A comprehensive and independent review of all cases of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation should be conducted. This audit would ensure that past and present cases have been handled fairly, without bias or internal influence.

• Independent External Investigation/Forensic Audit into Human Resources Hiring Processes: This would focus on reviewing HR’s hiring practices, including the use of external consultants, to ensure that all processes are conducted with integrity, transparency, and without favoritism.

• Independent External Investigation/Forensic Audit into General Counsel: An audit into the General Counsel’s office to ensure that legal decisions made regarding labor relations and internal investigations align with the ethical standards expected of public institutions.

• Open Access to Open Records: To promote transparency and accountability, there should be greater access to open records, especially concerning HR practices and internal investigations. This would allow for better public oversight and scrutiny of decision-making processes at MATC.

• Post the Position of Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as Soon as Possible: The prompt appointment of a VP of DEI is crucial to ensure that issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion are addressed at the highest levels of leadership. This will send a clear message about the institution’s commitment to these values.

• Restore AAN and LUNA to Lead the Restorative Justice Initiative: In order to protect the integrity of MATC's Restorative Justice initiative and ensure that taxpayer money is used effectively, AAN and LUNA should be reinstated as leaders of this program. Their expertise and understanding of these issues will be vital in fostering healing and restoring trust within the institution.

• Promotion of Internal Candidates: In addition, it is crucial that MATC prioritize the promotion of qualified internal candidates for open positions. Too often, talented bilingual and minority staff are overlooked in favor of external hires, even though internal candidates possess a deep understanding of our students’ needs and the unique challenges our institution faces. By promoting from within, we can recognize the hard work and dedication of those who have already committed themselves to MATC’s mission while fostering loyalty and trust within the faculty and staff. We need bilingual PERMANENT FULL-TIME positions, not just part-time.

Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned that in July 2024, members of the AFT Local 212 (MATC's teachers union) met with MATC President Dr. Anthony Cruz and informed him of the issues plaguing MATC including the discrimination and retaliation practices by administrators at MATC. Cruz told the union members that he would look into it, but to date hasn't met with the union to announce, if any internal investigations had been enacted and if policies would be enforced to prevent further discrimination and retaliation practices by administrators against employees, faculty and staff.

HNNUSA also learned that Sadique Isahaku, Ph.D. Executive Dean of Academic Strategy and Innovation decided to assign a only English speaking instructor to the bilingual Economics course, while MATC had advertised it was a bilingual Economics course, which is false advertisement.
