San Antonio, Texas - Legendary Tejano singer Jimmy Edward (Treviño), 65, is recovering at a local undisclosed hospital ICU from smoke inhalation (carbon monoxide buildup in his lungs) that he suffered during New Year's Day when part of his home caught fire due to fireworks. Another legendary Tejano singer Joe Bravo posted on his Facebook account that he had visited Edward and is was doing well.
Edward performed with Sunny Ozuna and the Sunliners and the Latin Breed.
Powerhouse Aviso reported that while Edward was in the hospital someone tried to break into Edward home to steal the few remaining possessions that were left after a fire destroyed part of his home. Robert Dorantes from Powerhouse Avizo established a gofundme for Edward to generate donations at: http://bit.ly/2ja6vPS.
