An unidentified Black male was reported shot at the 800 block of S. 26 Street in the Southside of Milwaukee.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On early Tuesday, Milwaukee police responded around 3:07 a.m. to multiple shots fired at the 800 block of S. 26 Street near W. National Ave. According to the preliminary investigation, the 34-year-old unidentified Black male was shot in an alley just South on S. 26 from W. National and then the victim who was shot fled (running) to W. National heading East and turned North on S. 25 and then turned left again on an alley adjacent to the McDonald's Restaurant and turned right in a alley between S. 26 and S. 25 leaving a trail of blood on the sidewalk. He fell next to a White duplex located at the 700 block of S. 26 St. in the rear parking lot.
The injured victim was located by police and first responders, he was transported to a local hospital. The victim is expected to survive.
Multiple spent bullet casings were found in an alley entrance at the 800 block of S. 26 Street.
The police investigation is on going.
In unrelated incidents on Monday, August 15, 2022, police responded to the 2200 block of S. 15 Street at around 3:59 p.m. for a report of battery cutting. A 47-year-old man was stabbed during an argument and was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a life-threatening injury. No one has been arrested for the stabbing incident.
At around 9:18 a.m. on August 15, 2022, police responded to the 1500 block of S. 6 Street for a double stabbing incident. According to police, an 18-year-old male was arrested after stabbing a 15-year-old male and a 40-year-old woman, both from Milwaukee during a domestic dispute. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment and are in stable condition.
The 18-year-old suspect was also cut and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Criminal charges are pending against the suspect.
