Several homicides reported by Milwaukee police and West Allis police, 26-year-old Perez was shot multiple times in the Southside of Milwaukee on Sunday and 12-year-old Smith died on Saturday from multiple gunshot wounds and a 17-year-old Black male was transported to a local hospital for treatment of gunshot injures, according to West Allis police.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Sunday, February 26, 2023, Milwaukee responded to gunshots fired at the 5300 block of S. 26th Street around 8:30 p.m. and located Aliyah Maria Perez, 26, with multiple gunshot wounds. She died at the scene, according to Milwaukee police.
A known suspect is being sought by police in the Perez homicide.
According to sources, Aliyah is the neice of Milwaukee Common Council President Alderman Jóse G. Pérez.
Also, Brittney Berg who is the girlfriend of Aliyah's brother, posted on social media that the suspect who allegedly killed Perez and is wanted in connection for her murder is Elijah Combs, 28.
On an unrelated homicide, West Allis police responded to gunshots fired around 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Bug N Out Lounge, 5630 W. Lincoln Ave. where in the upper level hall, a 17-year-old girl was having a Birthday Party that was attended by juveniles and adults (families). Police located 12-year-old Ronnel Smith of West Allis in a neighbor's yard near the lounge who was shot multiple times and died at the scene. Smith suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, abdomen and back.
The shooting was ignited by a dispute over prescription sunglasses, according to sources.
A 17-year-old Black male was also injured and conveyed to a local hospital for treatment, according to West Allis police.
The homicide investigation is ongoing.
