Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers (D) Defeats Trump Backed Candidate Tim Michels (R) And U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R) Reelected

Both Wisconsin Governor Evers (D) and U.S. Senator Johnson (R) reelected.

Madison, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, unofficial projected winners for the Wisconsin General Election November 8, 2022 are incumbent Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers (D) and for the U.S. Senate is incumbent Ron Johnson (R). Evers defeated Tim Michels (R), a known Trump backed candidate and Johnson who is a Trump supporter defeated Mandela Barnes (D), the outgoing Wisconsin Lt. Governor.

Wisconsin Governor (100% Precincts Reporting)

Tony Evers (D-Inc.) 51% votes: 1,355,409
 
Tim Michels (R) 48% votes: 1,265,846

U.S. Senate (100% Precincts Reporting)

Ron Johnson (R-Inc.) 51% votes: 1,334,670

Mandela Barnes (D) 49% votes: 1,307,296
