One of Martinez's accomplices of an alleged assault of a Mexican cop apparently wore the stolen badge on his shirt all night while at a Mexican bar, according to Martinez own admission. He also stated that he was not proud of what happened since he got involved with the wrong crowd at the time. Martinez was 20 at the time of the incident in Mexico.
Martinez didn't elaborate other details about the assault of a Mexican police officer in Mexico City. Martinez returned to the U.S. in 2007, according to the Mr. Nice Guy interview.
Martinez is a known Milwaukee union organizer and writing contributor for the Shepherd Express Magazine and the Milwaukee local El Conquistador Newspaper.
Voces de la Frontera Action, Citizen Action of Wisconsin Southeastern Co-op, Milwaukee Democratic Socialists of America, Wisconsin Working Families and Milwaukee County Supervisor Ryan Clancy have endorsed Martinez.
Three other candidates for Milwaukee County 12th District Supervisor are also on the February 15, 2022 Primary Election ballot. They are Christian Saldivar, Rosie King and former State Assembly Representative Josh Zepnick. The two highest Primary Election vote getters will face off on the April 15, 2022 General Election in Milwaukee County.
