Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On November 23, 2021 at around 7:48p.m. police responded to the 1500 block of W. Lincoln Ave. and found Dominic Salas, 34, fatally stabbed at the scene. Salas got into an argument with a suspect, Chadwick R. Marcinkiewicz, 33, who fatally stabbed Salas multiple times during the altercation, according to police
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office responded to the crime scene on Tuesday and have ruled it as a homicide after Wednesday's autopsy.
Marcinkiewicz was charged with one felony count for 1st-degree reckless homicide with use of a dangerous weapon. If convicted, Marcinkiewicz is facing up to 60 years in prison. A cash bail of $250,000 was set for Marcinkiewicz.
Marcinkiewicz is scheduled for a Milwaukee County preliminary court hearing on December 3, 2021.
Salas is survived by his wife and two daughters.
