Town of Lowell, Wisconsin - On Wednesday, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) announced that a joint operation by the sheriff's office SWAT team and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms (ATF) resulted with arrest of several suspects, including a felon in possession of at least 35 weapons, ammunition and drugs. According to the DCSO, at about 6:00 a.m. the Dodge County Sheriff's Office SWAT team executed a search warrant at N3315 County J, in the Town of Lowell, Dodge County. The search warrant was a part of a lengthy joint investigation conducted by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigative Division and the ATF in regard to the purchasing and possession of firearms by individuals who have state or federal firearms disqualifiers prohibiting them from possessing a firearm.
The search warrant led to the seizure of about 35 firearms along with thousands of rounds of ammunition, and suspected drugs.  One suspect was identified as Kirk Lupton, 56, aka, "Kirt Bintzler" who was taken into custody and booked into the Dodge County Jail and charged with one felony count for Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and the second suspect, Richard Nutter, 34, was also taken into custody on a probation violation and booked into the Dodge County Jail.
An ordinance device was located within the home as well.  As a precaution, the Milwaukee County Bomb Squad was requested to assist the DCSO and determined it to be inert and safe.
This case remains under investigation and additional charges are pending against both suspect.

Voces de la Frontera, An Immigrant Rights Group To Lobby For City of Milwaukee ID's

State Republican legislators SB 533/AB 723 bill prohibits municipal governments from issuing ID's to undocumented immigrants, but doesn't prohibit Wisconsin cities from enacting an ID program for local residents.

April 26, 2016

Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, Voces de la Frontera (VDLF), an immigrant and worker rights organization and multiple groups announced during a press conference that they will lobby for the City of Milwaukee to create an identification card program for local residents. On Monday, Governor Scott Walker (R) signed SB 533/AB 723 into law regulating municipal ID's and prohibited county governments from issuing ID's to undocumented immigrants. SB 533/AB 723 was also co-sponsored by State Representative Jessie Rodriguez (R-Franklin) from El Salvador who entered the U.S. illegally as an undocumented immigrant and later gained her legal status.
Rodriguez hasn't publicly addressed her reasoning for co-sponsoring SB 533/AB 723, which is considered an anti-immigrant bill in the state. Rodriguez has been also criticized by Latinos immigration activists, the WI immigrant community and State Representative JoCasta Zamarripa (D-Milw.) for sponsoring the SB 533/AB 723 bill, since she was once an illegal alien herself.
Rep. Zamarripa criticized Rep. Rodriguez by posting on Twitter, "Disappointed & disheartened that fellow Latina lawmaker & 1st gen immigrant @RepJessie co-authored anti-immigrant SB 533. @WisDems @wisgop"
in response, Rep. Rodriquez posted "@repjocasta @WisDems @wisgop #mustbecampaignseason" in her Twitter account.
VDLF in the following news release says that SB 533/AB 723 blocks counties throughout Wisconsin from using their own resources to provide local identification cards, but it doesn't block cities like Milwaukee from creating a local ID program. The bill signed by Governor Walker stopped Milwaukee's city-county partnership to create local ID cards, the first such partnership in the nation. The Milwaukee Common Council and the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors had passed legislation creating the Milwaukee ID overwhelmingly in October and November of last year.
VDLF and a coalition of groups will now lobby the Milwaukee Common Council to create an ID program.
According to VDLF, the We Are All Milwaukee Coalition had advocated for the creation of the cards, which would benefit vulnerable community members who struggle to obtain (or legally cannot obtain) Wisconsin State ID and Driver's Licenses, including undocumented immigrants, transgender community members, formerly incarcerated people, seniors, and homeless people. There are at least 5,000 senior citizens within the Milwaukee area that are in need of an ID who can't obtain a state ID or a driver's license, according to the Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans.
The coalition is made up of End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin, GenderQueer Milwaukee, the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center, the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), Milwaukee Inner City Congregations Allied for Hope (MICAH), Project Return, St. Ben's Community Meal, the Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans, Wisconsin Jobs Now, and Voces de la Frontera.

Wisconsin Bans Local ID's For Undocumented Immigrants Issued By Municipal Governments

Governor Walker signs SB 533/AB 723 bill regulating the production and issuing of local municipal government  ID's in the state, prohibiting undocumented immigrants from applying for them. One of the SB 533/AB 723 co-sponsors was State Representative Rodriguez who was an illegal alien herself before gaining legal status in the U.S.

April 25, 2016

Madison, WI - On Monday, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R) signed into law Senate Bill 533 (AB 723) now Act 372 that will regulate the production and issuing of local municipal Identification Cards (ID's) in the state. The bill was created to prohibit undocumented immigrants in the shadows and homeless people living in Wisconsin from getting some sort of ID to be identified when opening a bank account, getting prescriptions and other local purposes including helping police to at least identify a person. The bill only allows for local ID's to be issued for employment purposes.
Senate Bill 533, now Act 374, which amends 6.34 (3) (a) 3.;and creates 66.0438 of the statues to regulate the production and use of photo identification cards by local units of government to protect taxpayers and the integrity of elections. The bill was introduced by Senators Van Wanggard (R–Racine), LeMahieu, Lasee, Gudex, Kapenga, Stroebel, Nass and Lazich, including State Representatives Joe Sanfelippo (R–New Berlin), Jessie Rodriguez (R-Franklin), Brandtjen, Allen, Born, Craig, Duchow, Gannon, Kremer, J. Ott, Skowronski and Weatherston.
Ironically, State Representative Rodriguez immigrated and entered the U.S. from El Salvador as an illegal alien who later gained her legal status was one of the co-sponsors of SB 533/AB 723, which is considered an anti-immigrant bill copied from the State of Arizona when it was first introduced in that state. Arizona legislators failed to pass the ID bill that was later copied by Wisconsin state legislators.
Wisconsin Governor Walker decided to sign the bill into law on Monday adding Wisconsin on the national spotlight as another anti-immigrant state in the U.S.
In February, at least 60,000 people converged at the Madison Capital to rally against SB 533/AB 723.
In response of Governor Walker's signing SB 533 into law, Voces de la Frontera (VDLF), a workers and immigrant rights organization released the following statement by its executive director. "Governor Walker and the Republicans in the State Legislature should be ashamed of themselves for taking away local governments' ability to recognize and respond to the needs of some of their most vulnerable constituents, and they will suffer consequences for their bigotry," said Christine Neumann-Ortiz, Executive Director of Voces de la Frontera. "We made it clear that if this bill was passed we would call for a boycott of one of Governor Walker's largest corporate funders, and on May 1st, in Milwaukee and throughout the nation, we will be calling on all people who believe in the dignity of all people to boycott Menard's."
VDLF says, it will now lobby for the City of Milwaukee to create a City ID for local residents.
On May 1st, VDLF will hold a 10th Anniversary march and rally. Also on March 23, 2006 VDLF held the largest march and rally in Wisconsin's history, more than 30,000 people attended and marched in opposition of U.S. Representative James Sensenbrenner's (R-WI) anti-immigrant bill that criminalized anyone who rendered aide to undocumented immigrants nationwide. The Border Protection, Anti-terrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005 (H.R. 4437) bill failed to pass the 109th Congress. State
Representative JoCasta Zamarripa (D-Milw.), released a statement condemning SB 533. Zamarripa stated, "Gov Walker signed SB 533 into law today. Anti-immigrant & anti-local govt, this bill blocks Milwaukee County from offering local ID's to undocumented immigrants & others. Wisconsin has taken a step backwards today by singling out immigrants in order to marginalized them from our public life...this law is aimed at keeping immigrants in this country in the shadows by barring individuals from using local ID's for daily life activities such as having access to services such a recycling centers, homeless shelters and health care facilities."

Editor's note: It would seem that state Republican legislators and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker are actually working to aide homeland terrorist cells within the state boundaries by keeping undocumented immigrants in the shadows. Wisconsin and other states including the federal government should pass a mandatory ID law that would instruct states to issue ID's to all residents in order to identify everyone within the U.S. border regardless of having legal status or not. Today in Wisconsin and the U.S. millions of undocumented immigrants remain in the shadows not knowing who they actually are. Smh

Waukesha County Sheriff Deputy J. Dunston Allegedly Profiled Latinos At Bob And Rocco's Gunshow

Three Latinos apparently were profiled at the Waukesha gunshow by Waukesha County Shetiff Deputy Dunston.

By H. Nelson Goodson
Hispanic News Network U.S.A.

April 23, 2016

Waukesha, WI - On Saturday, Waukesha County Deputy Sheriff Jay R. Dunston, 52, stopped three Latinos inside the Bob and Rocco's gunshow at the Waukesha Expo Center and allegedly claimed that someone complained that they were attempting to buy guns with fake identification. He later explained that someone said, the Latinos were trying to exchange ID's while attempting to buy guns, but Deputy Dunston wouldn't identify who made the complaint about the Latinos stopped inside the gunshow.
The Latinos are now accusing Deputy Dunston of profiling Hispanics, requesting identification from them and holding the ID's to check for warrants. One of the Latinos asked Deputy Dunston to identify who complained, so that they could avoid purchasing anything from that person or vendor at the gunshow. Deputy Dunston refused to identify who made the frivolous complaint, giving reason to believe that Deputy Dunston made false allegations and engaged in profiling.
The Latinos, which one of them is a tourist from Guatemala now says that he felt humiliated and everyone was staring while the incident took place. Deputy Dunston didn't even apologize for the mishap and his profiling behavior at the gunshow. The tourist from Guatemalan said, he was not happy about what happened while at the gunshow and later admitted that he won't be returning to Waukesha.
Deputy Dunston was assisted by a Waukesha County Motorcycle Sheriff deputy.

Editor's note: One of the Latinos profiled at the Bob and Rocco's gunshow by Waukesha County Sheriff Deputy J. Dunston was the author of the article.

Update:

On November 28, 2018, Jay R. Dunston, 54, was cited in Waukesha County for Hunting with improper license-R (State Statue 29.024(1)) by a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officer and was found guilty due to no contest plea and was fined $222.90. Former Waukesha County Sheriff Deputy Dunston retired from the  Waukesha County Sheriff's Department in 2018, according to Waukesha County employee records.

On April 2016, Waukesha County Sheriff Eric Severson when contacted twice by e-mail and through the Waukesha County Sheriff Department's Facebook account page did not respond or made any comments regarding Waukesha County Sheriff Deputy J. Dunston's false allegations and profiling Latinos.
Also, when contacted via e-mail, Paul Farrow, the Waukesha County executive and the County Board failed to respond as well about Deputy Dunston's false allegations that Latinos were attempting to buy weapons with fake ID's at the Bob and Rocco's gun show where Dunston allegedly engaged in a profiling incident targeting Hispanics.

In 2017, Voces de la Frontera, an immigrant rights organization from Milwaukee in a letter of opposition sent to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties cited this article concerning a profiling Latinos incident by Sheriff Deputy Jay R. Dunston from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, which the department had filed an application for the 287g ICE program. (PDF) https://bit.ly/3wpw18j

Milwaukee, WI - On Friday, Jasmine Pennix, 39, a teacher's aide at Bay View High School was charged with one felony count of child abuse-intentionally causing harm for scuffling with a 14-year-old student on Wednesday. A hold was placed on Pennix and remains in custody at the Milwaukee County jail without bail. If convicted, Pennix is facing 6 years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
Last Wednesday, Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) first broke the story shortly after a classroom cellphone video surfaced in social media showing Pennix scuffling with a 14-year-old student in a Bay View High School classroom. Administrators for the Milwaukee Public Schools District (MPS) were made aware of the video on social media (Facebook) and notified police. Hours later, Pennix was taken into custody and the student involved was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The 14-year-old student apparently kicked Pennix first and was acting recklessly in the classroom. The student had been recently arrested by police for an attempted carjacking and was on an electronic monitoring device for an armed robbery.
The student involved in the incident is facing disciplinary action by MPS.

Deported U.S. Marine Veteran Daniel Torres Granted U.S. Citizenship

Torres became the first deported U.S. Marine Veteran to earn U.S. Citizenship.

April 21, 2016

San Diego, CA - On Thursday, deported U.S. Marine Veteran Daniel Torres was granted U.S. Citizenship just a day after he was allowed to reenter the country with a humanitarian Visa for a federal court hearing about his status. A federal judge decided to grant Torres full citizenship. He was sworn in as a citizen by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services hours later.
Torres, a former U.S. Marine was deported five years ago to Mexico for enlisting with fake documents. Torres is the first deported Veteran to be granted U.S. Citizenship.
Torres posted on his Facebook account, "I want to thank Hector Barajas at the Deported Veterans Support House and Jennie Pasquarella from the ACLU, all my family, everyone that has helped the DVSH. without any of you this would have never been possible, I promise you our challenge has just started, I might be the first, but I will not be the last. There will be no rest until all brothers and sisters of this great nation have returned home, for we do not choose where we are born, but we can choose who we are loyal too.
I solemnly swear..."
Torres was one of many deported Veterans who have been deported for minor crimes and are seeking citizenship status to return to the U.S. with the help of the ACLU-CA and the Deported Veterans Support House (DVSH), a non-profit organization in Tijuana, Mexico.
The DVSH was founded by Hector Barajas, a deported U.S. Army Veteran. Barajas is the managing director of DVSH and is seeking to return to the U.S. as well.
On Wednesday, a press release by U.S. Representative Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) announced that he led a group of veteran members of the U.S. Congress to introduce legislation that would help deported veterans to reunite with their families in the United States. The bill "Restoring Respect for Immigrant Service" would also prevent the removal of service members and veterans in the future.
Specifically, the bill urges the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security to use his powers under current law to readmit veterans into the United States who have been deported and who have not committed a serious crime. The bill also limits the current grounds of deportability to prevent the removal of a service member or veteran who has served at least 6 months in the military and who has not committed a serious crime.
U.s. Representatives Ted Lieu (D-CA), Charles Rangel (D-NY) and José E. Serrano (D-NY) are original co-sponsors of the legislation.

Milwaukee County Parks Denies August Festival Permit To Puerto Rican Cultural Committee

A Milwaukee County Parks special events coordinator claims overcrowding, public urination and vehicles squealing tires at the Puerto Rican Festival 2015 at Humboldt Park is reason for denying this year's park permit.

By H. Nelson Goodson
Hispanic News Network U.S.A.

April 21, 2016

Milwaukee, WI - On Thursday, El Conquistador Newspaper reported that the Puerto Rican Cultural Committee (PRCC) was denied a festival permit in September 2015 at Humboldt Park to hold their Puerto Rican (PR) annual festival in August 2016. According to El Conquistador, last September the PRCC met with Milwaukee County Park administrators and Milwaukee County Sheriff's Lieutenant Tricia Carlson who apparently made allegations that members of the Puerto Rican community attending the festival were a big "problem."
In early 2016, the PRCC contacted the Milwaukee County Parks once again to discuss permit filings, but in response Ryan Broderick, the Milwaukee County Parks Special Events Coordinator in an e-mail to the PRCC denied to grant another permit citing multiple issues from last year's festival. Broderick claimed that allegations of public urination were reported, there was excessive trash during and after the festival, loud music and vehicles squealing tires, overcrowding exceeding permit estimated attendance and parking complaints by neighbors around Humboldt Park. Broderick confirmed that in the September 2015 meeting between the PRCC members and park administrators, it was decided to denied the PRCC a permit to hold this year's PR festival at Humboldt Park.
Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned that staff administrators and Milwaukee County Sheriff's Lt. Carlson did not provide any information or statistics to the PRCC whether anyone was actually cited for public urination and vehicles squealing tires around the festival after it ended, questioning if they were just mere allegations made by the all White residents living around Humboldt Park to keep Latinos, especially the Puerto Rican community from using the County park again.
The parks department charges extra for using park workers to clean the park of trash left and not picked up by organizers and their volunteers. The PRCC did not confirm, if the parks department charged them extra for cleaning the park after the event.
A member of the PRCC who did not want to be identified on Thursday says, that talks between the PRCC and the Milwaukee County Parks department are ongoing and hopes the issue can be resolved. Milwaukee County Supervisor Peggy Romo-West and Chris Abele's Milwaukee County Executive's Office has been contacted by the PRCC to help resolve the PR festival permit denied by the parks department.
Last year, about 5,000 people attended the alcohol free event at Humboldt Park, according to the PRCC. This year's PR festival is being planned for August, but where it will be held is still undecided.
Is the Milwaukee County Parks department trying to keep Latinos taxpayers from renting and using the parks system? Large none Latino venues are permitted to use Humboldt Park and other parks as well.
Maybe it is time, to replace the Milwaukee County Parks director with someone who will allow ethnic community groups to rent its parks for rich traditional cultural events that generate funds?

Milwaukee, WI - On Monday, Frankie "Frank" L. Jude Jr., 37, of Oak Creek was taken into custody near the 2000 block of W. Lincoln Ave. by police after resisting arrest and suspicion of possession of drugs (cocaine) including violation of probation. Charges against Jude Jr. will not be processed, according to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office, Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) has learned. Jude Jr. will most likely be released, if his probation officer decides not to revoke his probation for having contact with police on Monday.
Jude Jr. sued the City of Milwaukee in 2004 after seven off-duty police officers beat him at a Bay View party shortly after being accused that he stole a badge. The badge was never recovered. The officers were all convicted in federal court for violating Jude Jr.'s civil rights and Jude Jr. was awarded $2.5M in 2012 by the City of Milwaukee.

Texas Lawsuit Against Obama's DACA/DAPA Failed To Challenge 1981 Work Authorization Before SCOTUS

Texas Solicitor General representing 26 Republican governors in a joined lawsuit to stop and challenge the legality of Obama's DAPA/DACA policies failed to cite legal arguments during the SCOTUS hearing.

By H. Nelson Goodson
Hispanic News Network U.S.A.

April 18, 2016

Washington, D.C. - On Monday, federal attorneys who argued in favor of Obama's DAPA/DACA at the SCOTUS hearing case Untied States v. Texas today say, they are confident and expect for Justices to rule in favor of their case by June. The Solicitor General for the State of Texas who argued for Texas including 25 other Republican governors who joined the lawsuit case failed to cite any legal argument to make their case against DAPA/DACA.
According to Marielena Hincapié, executive director from the National Immigrant Law Center during a live streaming by Reform Immigration For America stated that "the federal government did an exceptional job in defending DAPA." Hincapié also said, the Solicitor General for Texas didn't known anything about immigration law or was just trying to confuse the Justices. He didn't argue against Obama's legal authority to enact DACA and DAPA, but argued against work authorization and driver licenses for undocumented immigrants under Obama's policies on DACA. The Justices in cross examination questioned that the Solicitor General for Texas was arguing against and challenging the 1981 work authorization enactment under the Reagan administration, but that challenge under another law was not included in the lawsuit before SCOTUS, thus making the current lawsuit before the SCOTUS mute or lacked any standing, Hincapié told a crowd at a rally for support of DAPA/DACA of more than 4,000 people representing at least 16 states in front of the SCOTUS.
The Justices were left asking, if the Solicitor General of Texas didn't include a challenge of the 1981 work authorization as the basis of the current case, then why is Texas suing the U.S. government over Obama's legal authority to enact DAPA/DACA? In this case, Texas failed to show any injury, since the state currently issue driver licenses to DACA recipients under Obama's initial DACA policy.
The SCOTUS is expected to rule by the end of June in favor of Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA) and expanded Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), which would protect from deportation an estimated 5 million undocumented parents of U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents and an additional 100,000 undocumented young people brought to the U.S. as children known as DREAMers.

In video minute 13, Marielena Hincapié explains that U.S. v. Texas case before SCOTUS has no standing as a result of not including and challenging the 1981 work authorization under the Reagan administration in the current lawsuit. Video at: http://ow.ly/4mSD6b

Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico - On Saturday, members of La Tropa Fe decided to cancel a gig at the Mezquital Social Center (MSC) in Apodaca, Nuevo León shortly after crossing into Mexico. Apodada is a city within the Monterrey metropolitan area. According to La Tropa F, as they were traveling from Nuevo Laredo to Apodaca on a local highway, they were stopped by some suspects in a truck who announced that they were going to rob them of cash. Tropa F posted the following messages on their official FB account, "On behalf of La Tropa F we would like to apologize to all our fans in Monterrey, Mexico due to life-threatening circumstances, La Tropa...will not be attending tonight's concert in Monterrey. The band has decided to cross back to U.S. soil. No amount of money is worth anyone's life and would like to say this was out of the hands of OK Promotions...We love our fans in Mexico, it's just hard to get to them...Sorry for the bands or promoters that disagree and feel that the show must go on at ANY COST, but for La Tropa F, a Band with over 5 decades of experience behind them " A Chance is not worth a Dollar " at least for those with experience know at anytime this could have had a different ending......"
Tejano Nation dot net reported that Tropa F released the following statement, "We crossed early this morning to Laredo Mx., not even 10 minutes in, a truck gets in front, stops in the middle of the road, guys walk up to the van and say 'don't run we just want money'. They asked who we were and the driver told them.  They let us go, but we think it was for a bigger setup they had further down the road.  So, we made the driver make a quick u-turn and get to the bridge where at least we were safe."
Tropa F did not released any information, whether the highway robbers in Mexico took any money, band equipment or valuables from the band members. No one in the band was reported hurt.

Thiensville, WI - A Suburban Motors Harley-Davison Dealership employee has been fired as a result of sending a racist text message referring to Afro-Americans as the "N" word to the wrong person, Jesse Sawyer who happens to be the owner of Jesse's Hawg Pen, a motorcycle customs shop in Milwaukee. Jesse had text Jeff Enright, a Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson Dealership employee inquiring about a motorcycle part. Enright responded with what was determined to be a racist text message referring to Afro-Americans as the "N" word. Apparently, Enright was texting to someone else and discussing how Afro-Americans using the word "N" doing a job and how they couldn't vote and the bars were closed on election day.
The Enright racist text message was then exposed on Facebook by Jesse who wasn't to thrill about getting a N word racist text. It took Scott Houpt, the owner of the Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson Dealership (SMHD) at least 24-hours to terminate Enright after learning about it.
According to Jesse, Milwaukee area Afro-American biker's and Afro-American motorcycle repair and custom shops have spent about $500,000 to $1,000,000 per year at the SMHD and suddenly they are considered the N word by an employee. Another SMHD employee, Billy O'Dwyer who started working last year at SMHD posted "on behalf of myself and the more than 40 other Suburban employees that do not attach themselves, in any way, to the transaction between Jeff and Jesse. MY HOPE is that no one else would either." In other words, O'Dwyer and other employees at SMHD have disassociated themselves from Enright and don't condone what he texted to Jesse.
At least 1,000 bikes were bought by Afro-American bikers at SMHD costing between $4,000 to $40,000. In return, Afro-American biker groups have gotten a few $200 in gift certificates and some biker group appearances at the SMHD anniversary biker parties, according to Sawyer.
Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) has included the following Facebook (FB) postings by Sawyer from the "Keeping It On 2's" Facebook page that was posted for bikers to share.
Sawyer FB posted, "Hello to the biker world...This is Jesse Sawyer the owner of Jesse's Hawg Pen in Milwaukee,Wi. I'm writing in regards to the racist text message I received from Jeff Enright a long standing employee at Suburban Harley Davidson in Theinsville Wi. The racist message was accidentally sent to my phone while conducting a business transaction with Suburban Harley. I'm bothered by the text most of all due to me leading so many customers to this establishment for the past 13 years. As a business Suburban Harley is responsible for their employees during their work hours. Jeff Enright came to my shop several hours later to apologize for the "NIGGER" slur, but I felt it wasn't do to me, it was only an apology for the mistake of being caught saying it. I would never accept an apology from a man who can't stand on what he said. If we're "NIGGERS" don't let us not be because we seen, or heard it. It's crazy that what stood out the most during Jeff Enright talk of shame was him saying Scott advised him that IF he COULDN'T resolve this with me, he was going to be fired. It shouldn't take me saying it's ok to call me a "NIGGER" to determine the future of his job at Suburban Harley. It then took the president Scott Houpt 24 hrs. later to contact me regarding this issue to say I fired him and my dealership doesn't represent this. I can only imagine the call that I may not have received if I had accepted  his apology, or hadn't threatened to exposed this to his African American customers. I feel we have helped build Suburban Harley Davidson business with our hard earned dollar, and in 2016 why are we still being considered as "NIGGERS"? This dealership receives the most black earned dollars out of any dealership in Wisconsin. From this day forward, I will not wear a shirt with their name on my back. We spend $40 for t-shirts to advertise their name for what, to be just "NIGGERS" at the end of the day? There's no need to keep this as a race issue, but there is a strong point to make demands from this issue. 10 years ago I advised Scott how African Americans will grow in this Harley Davidson world. Within 5 years it happened and he couldn't believe it. Five years later Harley Davidson corporation were teaching all dealerships urban outreach. I never understood why teach whites to deal with blacks when we're all humans. Apparently the outreach didn't work 10 years later. I feel as the #1 dealership in Wisconsin why not have an African American parts person, salesman, apparel, or even a service person at your dealership out of 75 employees.  This issue is nothing more then me standing for our rights as a whole. I have dealt with people and dealerships from the east to west, and from north to the south. It's crazy for me to see that some people make this situation excusable. Is this because of the close-out giveaways at parties, or just the 10% discount you receive? We need to learn to stand for more as a whole in all situations instead of only at motorcycle crash scenes, or anniversary parties in the black community. I have played a major part in building this bike community from sports bikes, metric cruisers into a Harley Davidson loved bike. When the African American dollar leaves their dealership, we will then see how strong we are as a group, and what they're willing to change for us. I allowed 10 of my white customers to see this text and 6 of them said, we stand with what's right without me asking. Don't allow another to stand for what we need to stand for. Call Suburban and voice your opinions to this matter and don't try to kill a snake at the tail. Speak to the president Scott Houpt 262-242-2464 and see what his plans are to better this situation. Thank you"
Second posting by Sawyer, "Good Evening Biker World, this is Jesse again. First I would like to say I appreciate everyone who has stood behind this! Big D Deon A Polk Please explain to me what Suburban Harley has done for the African American Bikers? They have gave us $200 in giveaways, they have gave us special appearances for 2hrs at anniversary parties, or is it the counter discount on parts? Now we as a whole have given them over a 1000 bike sales at a minimum  of $4000- $40,000. We have cleared their shelves of clothing, we have cleared their shelves of accessories, we wear their name on our back locally and/or cross country, we attend and support all their events including their annual block party, we do rides for their establishment, and most of all we pass up other dealerships to support their establishment. I think the 4 to 5 clubs they choose to grab a hold of for the discount advertisement equals to me $1000-$1500 a year. Now our sales equal to over  $500,000- $1,000,000 per year. Now tell us again about them helping the biker community? If they employed a minimum of 4 African American employees that received $30,000 a year that's $120,000 coming back to our community.  Instead of a million going farther north of Mequon Rd. This is a lifestyle that we choose to put our foot print down in. Our dollar keeps their 75 employees, oh I mean 74 employees employed. I would never settle for water and dawn detergent over what's real. Big D you texted me at 8:04 am and asked would I like to be in your Catarina Kravey YouTube video offered on your club site. I responded to call me back twice and hear it is 13 1/2 hrs later I still haven't received that call. I can say you have spoke to the people you consider good to "NIGGERS" multiple times today and I guess you didn't want to talk or ride down on me. Stand up as a man and realize I wasn't  called a "NIGGER" personally, but I stand with the fact it was said and handled, but not handled affectively. Re read your earlier post and tell us have you known them for 5years or 8 years? I guess we can answer that, tell us the year of your bike?  We don't count the times you went to trade in that metric cruiser and was turned away. Also,: he wasn't fired the day of, he returned to work the next day to find out he was fired!! And last but not least let's not forget, he was ONLY FIRED BECAUSE I DIDN'T ACCEPT HIS APOLOGY!! I wonder how would you be defending Suburban Harley then? That is all!!!"
Polk is the President of Raw Iron Brotherhood Motorcycle Club. Polk confirmed in a SMHD thread FB posting discussion that "There are Harley dealerships that wont even speak to a black person when u walk in yet black folks stay having events at that dealership."
In has not been determined, if Enright's racist text message was attributed to Donald J. Trump's bigoted and racist campaign for the Republican nomination for President.

Waupaca, WI - On Tuesday, both Zachary T. Hohn, 16, and Adam J. Ozuna, 24, were charged with two felony counts each for 1st-degree intentional homicide and robbery with the use of force in connection with the April 11 murder of Matthew Pagel, 25. A cash bail of $500,000 each was set for Hohn and Ozuna. Hohn was waived to adult court. Their next court date is scheduled for April 19, for further proceedings.
According to the criminal complaint, both Hohn and Ozuna had planned to rob and kill Pagel after they learned that he wanted to buy Adderall, a drug. The suspects picked up Pagel at a local hotel in Clintonville and took him to a southeast remote area where they beat him to death while inside a vehicle. Afterwards, they left the body in a ditch. The suspects went home and then told Hohn's girlfriend about Pagel's brutal beating. Hohn's girlfriend noticed that the suspects had blood in their clothes.
Hohn's girlfriend told her mother about the Pagel's beating in her mother's car. The mother decided to go out and look for Pagel. She found his body around 2:30 a.m. on Monday in a ditch and reported the murder to authorities.
Both Ozuna and Hohn were later arrested at a Bear Creek residence after authorities follow leads of their whereabouts on Facebook, according to the Waupaca Sheriff's Office.
Authorities believe that the suspects just decided to rob and kill Pagel. The suspects and Pagel apparently knew each other and didn't have any disputes prior to the murder. Pagel only had $200 and a jacket on him when he was killed, which both suspects took from Pagel's body, according to the criminal complaint.

Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. Ordered To Released Un-redacted ICE I-247's To Voces de la Frontera

Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, the Wisconsin Court of Appeals District ordered Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. to release un-redacted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer I-247's forms dating back to November 2014 within 48 hours to Voces de la Frontera (VDLF), a workers and immigrant rights organization, according to the Court of Appeals ruling. Sheriff Clarke had released 12 I-247 forms, but all were redacted and information about undocumented immigrants held was deleted making it difficult to determine name of subject, event number, file number, nationality and circumstances of immigration status. Later, Sheriff Clarke released the I-247's with some un-redacted information, but redacted the nationality of those detained. Voces de la Frontera sued for none full disclosure under the Wisconsin open records law.
Clarke had argued that federal law exempted the Milwaukee County Sheriff Department from disclosing I-247 information citing ICE's request not to release the information of detainees. But the Wisconsin Court of Appeals agreed with Voces de la Frontera that the detainees in question were not in federal custody, but in Milwaukee County custody and the Wisconsin open records law applied for full disclosure.
The executive director and the attorney for VDLF released the following statements on the outcome of the case. "This ruling reaffirms the right of Voces de la Frontera under Wisconsin's open records law to monitor Sheriff Clarke to make sure he does not engage in improper immigration enforcement activity," said Attorney Peter Earle, who represented Voces in the case. "It is a clear victory for Wisconsin's immigrant community."
"This is a victory for open government and democracy and the immigrant rights movement," said Christine Neumann-Ortiz, Executive Director of Voces de la Frontera. "Sheriff Clarke can no longer carry out deportations in secret. We will now obtain information regularly to hold Clarke accountable for his deportations and ensure he is respecting new federal enforcement priorities. We never should have had to go to these lengths to obtain such basic information. Clarke should be ashamed for wasting taxpayer dollars on lawyers to try to keep indefensible deportations secret. It also underlines the need for local law enforcement to not be collaborating in deportations with federal immigration authorities because it discourages immigrants from reporting crimes."

Town of St. John, Indiana - On Friday, a group of clergy, members of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and Latino leaders from Indiana held a vigil and prayer at the Town of St. John Police Department to denounce racial profiling of Latinos by St John Police Officer Daniel Kolodziej who was placed on administrative leave last December after a complaint was filed. Latino leaders in the area are claiming that he engaged in a Mexican hunt and targeted Latino immigrants. According to a news release, Julie Contreras from the LULAC Immigration Affairs Committee says that LULAC had received numerous complaints regarding practices by the St. John Police Department against Latinos and other minorities. One complaint specifically alleged that St. John Police Officer Kolodziej has been racially profiling Latinos by conducting in his words a "Mexican Hunt". LULAC and Indiana Latino leaders believe that these statements reflect a discriminatory practice by the St. John law enforcement agency that target Latinos.
In an effort to highlight the racism against the Latino community, LULAC, Clergy and Indiana Latino Leaders held a vigil on Friday to stop the Hate and Racism in the Town of St. John.
Contreras confirmed that LULAC has filed an open records request to get access of documented records, police dispatch logs, statistics and correspondence between officers for the last five years to assess statistics of Latinos that were stopped for traffic violations by Officer Kolodziej and other officers.
Contreras received actual documentation from a source of a log message between a dispatcher and Officer Kolodziej telling the dispatcher that he was on a Mexican hunt indicating Officer Kolodziej was targeting Latinos travelling through St. John's jurisdiction.
The St. John's Police Department is known for engaging in Latino and Afro-American racial-profiling for years, according to local residents.

Update: Attoney Christopher Cooper who is representing Officer Kolodziej contacted Hispanic News Network U.S.A. and confirmed that Officer Kolodziej was placed on administrative leave and was not suspended as previously reported. Cooper also stated in an e-mail that a document copy of a message log between Officer Kolodziej and a dispatcher does not come from a reliable source, but that Contreras has filed an open records request with the St. John Police Department to release certain documents. Attorney Cooper did not specify why Officer Kolodziej was placed on administrative leave or if he has denied the allegations that he enaged in a Mexican hunt as Contreras and Latino leaders in the St. John area have claimed.

Five Videos Of The Twin Peaks Waco Biker Brawl Cossacks v. Bandidos Released By Attorney

A Nevada attorney has released five videos of the Twin Peaks Cossacks v. Bandidos M.C.s brawl that ended with 9 bikers dead and many wounded.

Waco, Texas - Nevada attorney Stephen Stubbs has released five videos of the May 17, 2015 Twin Peaks brawl between the Cossacks, Scimitars and Bandidos M.C.s, which involved the Waco police SWAT team that ended with 9 bikers dead. At least 4 of the bikers killed were attributed to Waco police.
The brawl happened when seven Bandidos in motorcycles entered a parking lot where the Cossacks were parked and an argument turned violent. Stubbs says, that most of the bikers were at the Twin Peaks for a political biker meeting hosted by the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents and videos released show many bikers ran for cover and were not involved in the altercation, contrary to what Waco police alleged in criminal complaints against nearly 200 bikers present at the Twin Peaks Restaurant. Most of the bikers are innocent and should have not been charged in the incident. Some bikers were involved in the altercation and should face justice, according to Stubbs.
The following 9 victims were killed during the Twin Peaks Restaurant biker altercation between the Bandidos, Scimitars and Cassack's M.C.s in Waco, Texas.

● Daniel Raymond Boyett, 44, shot in the head. (Cossacks M.C.)

● Wayne Lee Campbell, 43, shot in the head. (Cossacks M.C.)

● Richard Mathew Jordan Jr., 31, shot in the head.

● Richard Vincent Kirshner Jr., 47. (Cossacks M.C.)

● Jacob Lee Rhyne, 39, shot in the neck. (Cossacks M.C.)

● Jesús Delgado Rodríguez, 65, shot in the head. (Bandidos M.C. affiliate) Rodríguez was a Purple Heart recipient.

● Manuel Issac Rodríguez, 40. (Bandidos M.C.)

● Charles Wayne Russell, 46, shot in the chest. (Cossacks M.C.)

● Matthew Mark Smith, 27. (Cossacks M.C.)

McLennan County judges, Waco police, the Waco Mayor and the McLannan County District Attorney Abel Reyna are known for their family ties in governing, political control, keeping the feds and the Texas State Attorney General's Office from taking over the biker cases resulting in allegations of corruption and a major cover-up of the Twin Peaks massacre.
The biker criminal warrant affidavits by Waco Police Detective Manuel Chavez claimed without probable cause that all of the bikers detained engaged in organized crime and were bonded by Justice of the Peace Walter H. Peterson who signed the warrants by Chavez and set illegal bonds of $1M each for the more than 177 arrested. Peterson can not preside over felony cases (only misdemeanor cases without jail time or bonds and civil cases up to $10k in liability), sign felony warrants or even set bonds, according to Texas state law.
Abel Reyna, the McLennan County District Attorney, Waco Police Chief Brent Stroman and other McLennan County judges knew that Peterson couldn't sign felony warrants and set excessive bonds, but kept quiet and proceeded to hold bikers on frivolous charges.
Reyna was able to have McLennan County Judges put a gag order for victims (bikers) charged and their defense attorneys not to talk about the pending cases. Ballistic forensic and video evidence was withheld from attorneys and the public including media since last May. Attorneys for the majority of defendants have been filing for the forensic and video evidence to be release in order to get a fair trial.
The Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents representing most of the bikers charged confirmed that they will be filing a joint civil rights lawsuit against the Waco Police Department and McLennan County District Attorney Reyna for filing frivolous criminal charges against members (bikers) of the Confederation.

Former Milwaukee Police Detective Rodolfo Gómez Jr. Indicted By Feds For Using Excessive Force

Former Milwaukee Police Detective Gómez Jr. allegedly beat a murder suspect while being questioned for the homicide of a 7-year-old child.

Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, Gregory J. Haanstad, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin announced that a federal grand jury in Milwaukee indicted former Milwaukee Police Department Detective Rodolfo Gómez, Jr., 49, for willfully depriving Deron Darnell Love of his civil right not to be subjected to excessive force, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 242. If convicted, Gómez could be sentenced to a maximum possible term of imprisonment of ten years, a fine of not more than $250,000, and a term of supervised release not to exceed three years.
The charge is based on the allegation that, in an interview room in the Police Administration Building on August 14, 2013, Gómez repeatedly punched Love in the face and head and kneed him in the torso, all while one of the victim's hands was handcuffed to a wall in the interview room. Gómez stopped punching and kicking the victim when a police lieutenant who heard yelling entered the room. The federal indictment alleges that the force used was unreasonable and that the Love suffered bodily injury.
According to the Milwaukee County criminal complaint, Gómez was charged with several felony counts after he was caught on video surveillance in the interrogation room punching Love in the upper body. Gómez was removed from the room by another officer who witnessed the beating. Gómez came back in with several Milwaukee County Sheriff deputies to move Love into another cell.
On February 2015, a Milwaukee County Circuit Court jury found Gómez not guilty on both felony counts, for misconduct in public office, including excessive use authority and for abuse of a resident of a penal facility. Gómez a 12-year veteran with the police force had been suspended with pay until the outcome of the case. On December 2013, Gómez was terminated from the Milwaukee Police Department. He appealed his termination, but has not been reinstated by the Fire and Police Commission.
Love who was charged with two felony counts for first-degree reckless homicide and neglect in the death of his 7-year-old son was taken to a hospital for treatment after the incident. On September 12, 2014, a jury found Love not guilty on both counts.
On October 14, 2014, Love filed a lawsuit against Gómez for striking him while in custody in 2013.

Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, the primary elections will take place in the City of Milwaukee, many Bilingual Election Inspectors (BEIs) assigned to areas or wards that have a large concentration of Spanish or Hmong speaking voters are expected to do non-bilingual duties as well compared to only English speaking Election Inspectors (EIs). BEIs will get paid the same as EIs rather than get an increase in pay for being bilingual, according to poll workers. The City of Milwaukee Election Commission training manual for Election Inspectors and poll workers does not provide information about an increase in pay for BEIs.
Since 2012, the City of Milwaukee Election Commission has not paid extra to fluent speaking BEIs for translating services, even when they are expected to keep polling sites running efficiently as EIs. When a BEI is helping a limited English proficiency voter, an EI will take up the duties of a BEI while providing a translation service.
The City of Milwaukee under Section 203, the federal Voting Rights Act must provide assistance to limited English proficiency voters and also provide Election Day materials in both English and Spanish and include fluent speaking BEIs at wards where translation services are needed.
The Milwaukee Police Department pays officers extra for translating or $25.00 to a translating contract service., but the City Election Office does not.
It seems, the City of Milwaukee Election Commission is actually engaged in wage discrimination when it comes to fluent speaking BEIs and they don't get paid for working hours after the polls close at 8:00 p.m., some might argue and agree.

Milwaukee, WI - On Monday, Milwaukee residents and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) criticized the Milwaukee Police Department including Police Chief Edward A. Flynn for allowing a practice by police officer units to cover their name tags and badges with numbers so, they can't be easily be identified, if they engage in unlawful use of force and unsupervised illegal activities at peaceful rallies. Multiple photos showing Milwaukee police officers assigned to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) Trump rally and protest had no name tags or badges with numbers to identify them were circulated on social media.
Chief Flynn has not released any statement explaining why individual police officers failed to show their name tags or badge numbers at the UWM Trump anti-hate rally and protest.
Chris Ahmuty, the executive director for the ACLU-Milwaukee on Monday released the following statement, "Today, the ACLU of Wisconsin expressed concern that once again the Milwaukee Police are covering up their name tags for no good reason, contrary to department policy, and hindering any efforts at increased transparency in the process.  This kind of behavior will do nothing but draw even clearer lines of division between the MPD and the community it purports to serve.
"As evidenced by Sunday's police show of force at UW-Milwaukee, individual police officers and the major incident response team (MIRT) too often cover up their name tags while deployed in public.  This is a flagrant violation of an MPD policy that is already weak and rarely enforced.
"When Milwaukeeans are peacefully exercising their rights to free speech and assembly, the MPD should do everything in its power to refrain from intimidating members of the public from expressing themselves.  By covering up their nametags, the officers communicated an implicit threat that they may engage in practices for which they do not want to be held accountable.
"The ACLU of Wisconsin urges the MPD to better train and supervise its officers, including those assigned to demonstrations protected by the First Amendment, to maintain transparency and avoid sending harmful messages to the public."

Update: According to Milwaukee 3rd District Alderman Nic Kovac's Facebook posting on Arthur Gates' FB account, Kovac wrote, "Arthur, I got this response today from the police department: "I am following up regarding the photos you shared with me yesterday. The photos indicate a violation of MPD policy and we have initiated an investigation. Chief Flynn has also directed that immediate corrective action be taken to ensure that future violations do not occur. Our policy allows officers to replace their name tag with a unique identifying number when they are involved in a protest/demonstration/rally type of deployment. This policy was developed several years ago in response to the occurrence of identity theft and personal threats to officers and their families subsequent to major events, rallies and demonstrations across the country over the past few years.""
Ald. Kovac did not identify who responded from MPD to his inquiry about officers covering their name tags and badges.

Editors note: Police officers are public servants paid by tax payers and should be identified at all times while in uniform and on the job. Cops are not above the law. There has been no indication or reported incidents that officers or their families have been targeted with personal threats after peaceful rallies and demonstrations for wearing name tags or badges with numbers.

Milwaukee, WI - On Wednesday, the City of Milwaukee held its Neighborhood Block Watch 2nd Annual Appreciation Reception for members of the City-wide Block Watch Program. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and Milwaukee Police Chief Edward A. Flynn hosted and recognized members of the City-wide Block Watch Program from local neighborhoods attending the Appreciation Reception at the City Hall Rotunda.
Also in attendance were police officers known as Milwaukee's finest in blue and District Station Captains from various areas.
An array of foods (pasta), salas, sodas and a dark blue City of Milwaukee coffee mug was provided to all of those attending the reception at City Hall.
The Block Watch association allows residents to work and help police to prevent crimes by becoming vigilant, observant and allowing neighbors to immediately report suspicious activity or crimes in progress to police. Block Watch members are not vigilantes and do not assume the role of the police, but are the eyes and ears of police at local neighborhoods.
To start a Block Watch in your block, contact the nearest police station in your area.
